This was our second time. And the stay was great! The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is always great. We choice to meet our son for breakfast on the second and last morning. So Rita made sure she left us some easy to eat snacks and to go cups for tea and coffee for our trio back home. Rita has great attention to detail. This time we were able to even bring our little dogs. They were well behaved and loved being able to be with us.

We had never stayed at a B&B, but this was a very good experience, so we will never hesitate to travel that way again. If we are anywhere near Morgantown, IN and/or Nashville, IN we will certainly stay at Acorn Ridge. Breakfast were our best meals on this trip,

Rita was very accommodating and made us delicious breakfasts! She was friendly and helpful. Her lawn chairs and umbrellas were real lifesavers for an outdoor festival we attended! The B&B was very clean and nicely furnished. We highly recommend it!
Thank you for your wonderful review! I hope you will have occasion to return!

The Waters celebrates water Indiana style! The comfortable atmosphere of creeks and streams, canoeing, ducks and other water birds. This room can be reserved as a King or set up as 2 twins. Please specify bed layout in the "Special Accommodations" box on the last page. While it does not have an in room bath, the "Bird Bath" is dedicated to The Waters when guests are booked. The Bird Bath offers a walk in tub with a shower arm - a very spacious and comfortable bath - my favorite!
Book the entire house! The hosts are on site, but you have access to 4 guest rooms - The Pines- King suite, The Whitetail- Queen suite, The Waters - 2 twins or king set up, and the Nest- 2 twins or king set up. 3 full baths, recreation room, patio with fire pit, deck, 1/2 mile trail to hike, breakfast room, beverage bar and snacks, refrigerator, microwave. We have this huge house that we enjoy, and we enjoy having guests. It just seemed like the perfect combination. Dave is an engineer so he fixes things, enjoys hunting and archery. Rita loves projects, picture framing, and art. We both enjoy the outdoors and love animals. We just don't have them in the house due to allergy issues.

Portobello Eggs with sides
An egg is nested in a Portobello mushroom cap and baked with herbs and sprinkled with Asiago cheese. The meal is rounded out with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream on the side. Bacon or cheese slices and broiled tomatoes accompany the egg with a side of Swedish pancakes. If that doesn't fill you up, we will gladly cook and additional egg to your liking and orange juice is available. A selection of local syrups are fun to choose from! That will be a surprise! We have a selection of teas, K cup coffee anytime you like, and a pot of coffee at breakfast.
