The Inn At Windmere is a beautifully renovated 1910 country home just 3 miles off I-69 that offers five lovely guest rooms with private baths, 4 with king beds. The peaceful, elegant setting makes it a favorite place for a romantic getaway, while the convenient location and affordable price offer it as a good choice for travelers passing through. The Inn has 2 large rooms with all the amenities needed for scrapbooking or quilting weekends, business meetings or church retreats. Indoors are cozy fireplaces, grand piano, home gym, ping pong, and free wi-fi, while outdoors one can swing on the wrap-around porch, stroll around the beautiful gardens, take in a sunset from the gazebo, or enjoy a s-more at the fire pit. The Inn At Windmere is close to the World War II and car museums for which Auburn is famous, numerous quaint shops in downtown Auburn, and many other attractions that will give anyone a pleasurable visit. Our goal at the Inn is to meet the needs of each guest so they can leave feeling refreshed and pampered--that they have experienced a true get-away.

The Inn at Windmere is a gem in the B & B world. We have never been disappointed in our B & B use but this Inn is simply the best we have ever seen and experienced. Paul and Susie Rexroth are an amazing couple that made our stay as comfortable as possible in their extremely large home. The front porch is one of the best places to simply unwind and enjoy the "outside" cats Situated on 40 acres there is plenty of space to roam and enjoy the feel of the lawns, flowers, chicken coop, hooved animals, and out buildings. The hot breakfast was superb and left no room for lunch later on our way home. This B & B is on our very singular list of repeat visits.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the Inn at Windmere. Such a wonderful place, and such great hosts. The breakfast was scrumptious, and we felt like old friends of Paul and Susie's; so easy and fun to talk to. This is a wonderful place to stay!

Loved this lovely place and its hosts! Not only is it lovely but it is also homey; with every detail planned for your benefit. The rooms were lovely, the outside of the home with pool and gazebo were great, and the food was Delicious. The hosts are so very warm, welcoming, and make you feel like you are a part of the family.

The Inn at Windmere is in a beautiful location just outside town. The Inn itself is spacious, extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of space inside and out to relax, chat with friends or other guests, sit in the gazebo or on the front porch, etc. Susie and Paul were very friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. They provided delicious homemade snacks, tea and soft drinks, an umbrella when it rained, suggestions for dinner, and more. Breakfast was a hearty Hoosier one -- eggs, bacon, waffles, potatoes and fruit -- not the "frou frou" dishes some B&B's use to try and impress.

Our group of nine recently spent 2 nights at this inn. We as a group have been staying at bed and breakfasts for nearly 30 years and we all agree this is the best place we have ever been. Everything was outstanding, including lovely grounds, beautiful rooms, charming hosts and out of this world breakfasts. We have already booked our stay for next year. Karen & Ed
