We had a lovely time at Queen Anne. The house is beautiful, and the breakfast was wonderful! The only downsides were a few loud trains, and the shower was a little claustrophobic due to the claw foot tub setup. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed there one night recently for our 14th wedding anniversary. This place isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. It is just a good classic bed and breakfast. The inn itself was very cozy and inviting...and the room very comfortable. Our host was awesome and the breakfast great. The innkeeper was such a good cook I would have happily paid more to have him make my dinner also! I would have no hesitation recommending this place to someone else and look forward to staying there next year.

This was our first bed and breakfast stay and we decided to go to Galena for a short honeymoon getaway after our wedding. The Queen Anne Guesthouse was a very beautiful house with amazing hosts! I was able to surprise my wife with a different package each night when we returned and everything was wonderful. The breakfasts were unbelievable with such things that we had never before experienced. Mike and Anita were so very nice and it was a pleasure to sit around the table and have discussions every morning. We have already made our plans to come back every year for our anniversary! - Michelle, Rockford, IL

Spent an enjoyable weekend evening here. Truly felt welcomed and valued as a guest. The ambiance of this circa 1891 building coupled with the opportunity for conversation and camaraderie with our host and the other guests both at the evening parlor social and breakfast the following morning made for a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The breakfast was a gourmet delight, complete with special accommodations made for my wife's food allergies.

This was our first bed and breakfast stay and we made the best choice! We came here for a little honeymoon getaway and it is now going to be our anniversary tradition every year. The hosts Mike and Anita were so very nice and we enjoyed the amazing breakfasts each morning. The house is just so beautiful and in a very nice, quiet location just a short walk from Galena downtown. I requested the cheese lovers package and the some enchanted evening package to surprise my wife and was not disappointed. We can't wait to come back next year! Michelle, Rockford, IL
