Great stay

4.6 on September 28, 2017

Wonderful stay, great location! The owner was so kind and was able to cater to all my food allergies. The bed was very comfortable, clean and perfect for our weekend getaway.

Innkeeper Response
You both were delightful guests and we are glad you chose us for your weekend getaway. Next time, please come and stay a day or two longer. BTW - we, too, think it's a great location...being smack dab in downtown Naperville.

Fall stay

3.0 on September 24, 2017

Would have liked more options in the food. Love the porch setting with all the plants.

Innkeeper Response
We really were honored and appreciated that you stayed with us - you gave us such joy having you here! We are a bit confused about your review though because you'd verbally shared that you liked your room, the bed was great ("best night's sleep I've had in a long time"), you thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared, chef-inspired, multi-course organic breakfast, and you said we "ranked at the top of all the B&B's" you've stayed in. This meant a lot to us since it seems you've stayed at numerous B&B's! Please return and stay with us again. If you'll let us know what we can do to earn 5 star reviews from you, we will do everything we possibly can to deserve it. Thanks Again!

Lovely B&B with a charming innkeeper

5 on April 10, 2017

This is an amazing value with high style to boot. Amenities include free parking, wifi, all day snacks and beverages (soft and adult). Each room is charming, with a different theme. We received a complementary upgrade. Breakfast was organic, hormone free and delish. The innkeeper Debbie gave excellent recommendations for dining, and was very helpful point us to local gems. Walking distance to high end shopping.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It is guests like you that make being an Innkeeper such a fulfilling lifestyle. We hope you will return to stay with us again very soon. Best to you, Debbie B.

Beautiful, Great location, Great value

5 on January 26, 2017

I stayed at the Harrison House Bed and Breakfast as a writer's weekend getaway. Debbie and Mark were gracious and accomodating hosts; far beyond anything I could have asked for, or expected. Knowing I was there to write my novel, Debbie suggested I stay in the Fleur de Lis room at the back of the house. It was perfect for my retreat; quiet, remote, comfortable - she knew exactly what I needed. Debbie is also very health conscious and provides delicious, organic breakfasts that are as appealing in their presentation as they are scrumptious. The organic, fresh-brewed coffee was some of the best I've had in a very long time. As a non-dairy person, she made sure to have organic almond milk on hand, too, per my request. The bnb is a 113 year old house, and most of the charm is still intact with all the modern amenities you could hope for. The newly rebuilt front porch is very inviting, whether to step outside in the crisp, cool morning air with a hot cup of coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up, to rest with a glass of lemonade after a day of shopping, or to sit and enjoy the evening sunset after dinner. The fact that Harrison House is within easy walking distance of downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk and every type of restaurant and shopping you could hope for is a huge bonus. It's also very near the Metra train station, so you can easily take a day trip to Chicago without having to negotiate Chicago traffic, and without spending your vacation money on Chicago parking and hotel prices. I've stayed at many bnb's, and this one is hands-down my favorite. I cannot wait to visit again! Marie L. - author/blogger
