The proximity to Transit is amazing (less than 0.1 miles). Additionally, it is walking distance to Wrigley Field and many restaurants. The speakeasy is amazing - make sure you get a reservation to go (only open Thursday-Saturday). The third floor is a bit warmer than other floors in the summer and a bit cooler in other floors in the winter so plan accordingly. There is no elevator, which may not be much of a problem, but please keep it in mind. We will DEFINITELY return the next time we are in Chicago.

Although it was a bit awkward to have to go down the hall to use our bathroom, it was listed on the website and we expected it. That was the only down side to this place!! Great 1920s themed bed and breakfast. The innkeeper, David was fantastic. Helpful with transportation and directions and he personally made and served the continental breakfast. Close to the L train stop, wrigley field and some great restaurants. We will be staying here again. Totally worth the money!!

We came from Spain to visit the city for the first time, and be with some friends we know there. The room was good, with all you need to be confortable. But I think the best part of this place is his owner, David, he was always helping us to let us know what places we should go to see the downtown, was the nicest guy we ever met in a travel. (Even I gave him an euro as a lucky coin!) The place have good conection, you are 2 blocks from subway station. So if I go back to Chicago someday, I will go again.

We stayed a long weekend visiting our daughter and taking part in a charity walk. The location is great and the bedroom was large and very comfortable. I don't think you could find a better value in Chicago. The innkeeper always asked if we needed anything, parking passes, directions, etc. it is quiet and cozy. This was our second stay there, and would choose it again.

Wanted something close to Wrigley. This place was perfect. Price was right, neighborhood has a lot of options for food and cocktails. Highly recommend if you are looking for a change from the large hotel stay in downtown.

This is our second stay at the Old Chicago Inn B & B and yet again it was a wonderful visit. We had a larger room this time; however, the bathroom was outside of the room, but you are provided wonderful robes and it is on the same floor. You have a key since it is the bathroom for your room. The service is always great, there is a small breakfast each morning and then you also receive 2 $10.00 discounted vouchers to use at the restaurant next door. These can be used on the same meal. This B & B also has a small speakeasy downstairs that is a wonderful experience.
Highlighting the antique furniture you'll find in Room 2B is a beautiful built-in cabinet, original to the building. Room 2B may be combined with Room 2A to create a private suite perfect for larger groups.
A great value, Room 2C includes a Queen size pillow-top bed and antique furniture and vintage accents throughout.
This standard room is distinguised by our "Princess and the Pea" high double bed for lofty dreams! With a euro bath and cozy reading chair this is a nice prvate retreat.
One of our Deluxe Rooms, Room 2A features bay windows, exposed brick, and an original mohogany wood-burning fireplace. A great room for larger groups, Room 2A includes a sleeper sofa and can be joined with room 2B as a private suite with private assigned bath.
This cozy room provides comfort and value with a full size pillow top bed and antique furnishings. Private assigned full bath directly across the hall.
A great value, Room 1C includes a full-size bed and antique furniture and vintage accents throughout. Private assigned bath directly across the hall with antique claw foot tub/shower.
