We arrived late due to getting married that day. I was left with clear instructions on how to get to the area, where things were etc. The room was amazing. We loved the hot tub right outside our room and the quiet environment. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed for 3 nights in the smallest studio style room on the ground floor. Fine for 2 people. Private entrance with kitchen area, micro and frig with coffee and coffee maker and a nice bottle of fresh cold water in the refrig. Beautiful rock shower that is small but fine for us as we are both smaller people. The room was exceptionally clean and the host Marylee was available when needed. There is no breakfast served...you are on your own. 36th Street Bistro is close by where you can get coffee, pastries and breakfast/lunch/dinner. Location is easy access to No. Boise and downtown. Great, quiet, peaceful place!

We enjoyed our one night stay so much we booked a long weekend in November. We stayed here passing through boise on a road trip from Canada . It was lovely. Bed was so comfortable like sleeping on a cloud and the fireplace was a perfect place to relax in front of with a glas of wine after a long day. There is no onsite dining but I could not post the review with out adding it

My wife and I were looking for something different. We were in town for a concert and didn't want a run of the mill hotel. We came across Boise Hillside Suites while doing a Google search. After doing a little research we decided to make a reservation. This place is amazing! It is far enough from downtown where it is quiet but close enough to where we could go anywhere within 15 or so minutes. We stayed in "John's Study" and there is a separate living room area that includes a fireplace, Keurig, refrigerator, couch and a table to eat/work at. The bedroom has a queen size bed that is very comfortable. The toilet and sink are in a room separated from the shower which is nice. There is a TV in the bedroom that has a streaming service but we hardly used it. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and will look to stay in Marjorie's Library next time (which includes a hot tub). Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Note: There is no breakfast served which is fine with us as we always go out for breakfast when staying somewhere plus they mention it on their site so you know ahead of time.

My husband and I are on a month long road trip and stayed in the Library Suite for three nights. Marylee was watching for us and met us outside to instruct us where to park. She let us in our room and answered all our questions regarding nice places to eat, etc. Over the next couple days, it became apparent that she really loves her property and wants her guests to do the same. The grounds were well maintained with lots of beautiful flowers. It was a rainy few days and the fireplace was the perfect touch to take the chill out of the room. I was impressed that Marylee does not skimp on the little niceties that make a place special. The bedding was wonderful. Turkish cotton towels and robes provided. The shower was our favorite - removable shower head with shampoo and body wash in wall dispenser. Marylee herself brings fresh towels and coffee each day. I wish all the places we stay on our trip could be this nice. Thanks Marylee!!!

The suites are delightful. The private hot tub quite a luxury and the fireplaces lent a wonderful ambiance. The hosts are extremely helpful. We have stayed there 3 times in the past couple of months and would not hesitate to go back.
This room sits on the first floor and is the one that is most inset into the hillside. It's more quaint and is very quiet. It has a kitchenette (no stove), HDTV with FREE Netflix, luxury bed and linens, Keurig coffee maker, fresh flowers, microwave, refrigerator, and hi-speed Internet.
