Jude is a warm, wonderful host and Barbara's food was outstanding. All of the food, including that dark, rich coffee, is grown on Jude's family farm. The guesthouse is large with many rooms from which to choose. Everything is bright and clean which is hard to achieve in hot dusty Port-au-Prince. The views from the many patios were great and Jude always has cold bottles of water, Coke, and Haiti's Prestige beer available. After very long days of working in remote areas, it was an absolute pleasure to return to Jude's for the evening.

Stayed for 2 weeks in August. Jude's home is comfortable and very clean. The rooftop terrace is the perfect location for a sundowner. Mains electricity is intermittent but guesthouse has back up for lights and fans.

I love Jude and his staff. I've stayed in other guest houses and hotels in Haiti. Jude had a great thing going because of his passion for life and drive for success. I've stayed at the guesthouse with small and large teams. I will be back against in June. I love the price for what you receive, the high level of security, personal touch and care will surpass anyone's expectations. Thank you all so much and keep up the great work.

Jude, Barbara and the rest of the staff at Estinfil Guesthouses are wonderful. The rooms are large and clean; the food is authentic and abundant; the service is impeccable; and the staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. Estinfil Guesthouses is like a home away from home with views and sunsets to die for. My first trip to Haiti would not have been the same without Jude's hospitality. Thank you all for everything!

By far the best guesthouse I've stayed at. I've been to Nicaragua, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Uganda, and I haven't stayed at a better place. We will continue to stay here for our future missions trips. The owner Jude works very hard to make everything perfect.

What a wonderful experience! Jude is a magnificent host. Barbara is a wonderful cook. Safe. Clean. Excellent authentic Haitian meals. I was extremely pleased. Now if the Haitian government could just keep the power on all day! Even so, Jude had a backup generator that kicked in to make sure fans and lights worked all night. Thanks Jude!

It's a good place to stay. The room is clean and big. The staff is very helpful. The owner picked me up at the airport, which is very important for first time to visit Haiti. During my stay, I met a French lady who is retired, but working hard to try to help the people in Haiti. You can meet many interesting people like her.

Jude's amazing b&b surpassed all of my expectations. It was the perfect combination of Haitian hospitality and comfort. The dinners were great, and I enjoyed getting to sample the authentic cuisine in a safe environment. The showers were refreshing. And the views were spectacular! Can't wait to go back.

I have stayed at the Estinfil Guesthouse twice now and it truly is a great place to stay! The house is very clean, the food is absolutely delicious, and Jude is the best host ever! I highly recommend that you stay here.

I can not recommend staying at Estinfil's highly enough. Not only is the house spotless and the food abolutely delicious but the best thing about this guesthouse is the owner, Jude. He is passionate about being a host and he loves his country and abolutely goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. As soon as I walked in Jude told me to make myself at home and only after a couple of days I felt like staying with friends. Also the general atmosphere in the house with the other guests was great. In the evenings we shared our expereinces and the events of the day and I met many interesting and inspiring people during my stay. It was my first time to Haiti and also I was traveling alone and Jude not only helped me get started, get by bearings and provide me with invaluable information, but also took me out to a trip out to the countryside to experience a different side of Haiti. I also loved our little chats and jokes. I will definitely come back to stay at Estinfil's and I cherish every memory of my time there and in Haiti.

There are no words to properly give credit to this amazing guesthouse. Jude and his staff go so far above and beyond to make sure guests are well cared for. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced in terms of a hotel. The minute you arrive you feel like you are at home, part of a family, I spent 5 days here and not only did I come to love Jude aka BIGG MAN but the other guests are pretty much all fellow missionaries here to serve God each in their own way. The conversations at breakfast and dinner and hearing about what God is doing in and through so many ministries was one of the highlights of my Christian life. The spirit of the Lord is here and it pains me to be leaving today. I recommend is not nearly strong encough..this is a MUST place to stay! There is not 1 thing I would want to change.

We had 9 team members on our mission trip and Jude took care of us like we were family for the entire week. If my wife and I ever make it back to Haiti...we'll be staying here again for sure!!!

The guesthouse is so homey and calming. I still can't forget Barbara's great cooking. Jude is such a fun, funny and great person. I went by myself to Haiti for the first time in May 2012 and he really guided me thru everything. If it wasn't for our wonderful talks and laughter it wouldn't have been as great as it was. I will definitely go back to visit Haiti and of course Jude. Thank you for everything. -Damaly

Jude Estenfil's guest house is truly a hidden treasure in the Delmas area of Port au Prince. It is so close to the airport and Jude knows how to get there in a hury if necessary. However, it isn't the convenience, or the amazing Haitian cuisine served for breakfast and dinner (included in the nightly rate) , or even the peaceful and spotless environment - but the kindhearted care Jude, Barbara and the rest of the staff provide each of their guests; Whether you travel solo or in a large group - their service is first rate and they have a wonderful way of making you feel right at home. My days tend to be long working in Haiti and it is such a blessing to come back to the guest house sometimes even very late, and have dinner waiting for me - with a bit of pleasant coversation as well! I am a repeat customer to the Estenfil Guest House and will continue to be for a long time to come. I would higly recommend Estenfil's to anyone travelling to Haiti and looking for an excellent place to stay for one night or one month.

We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Estinfil Guesthouse in early July of 2012. Jude and his staff were wonderful to us and very helpful during our stay in Port-au-Prince. Each day our schedule was different and they were very flexible to accommodate us with varying meal times. Both the sleeping rooms and common areas were always kept clean and we felt like part of the "family" while there. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Haiti. Thanks for everything Jude and we hope to see your smiling face again soon. Tom and Cheryl Mohoric

You made our trip so comfortable and you are a delightful person. No matter what time we came in for supper you were there with a smile and the meal was on the table in a short time. I hope that we are able to stay with you again on many more occasions and also to go and visit your Father's orphanage. You are both beautiful people and may God be with you and guide you each day.

Our team of 8 missionaries stayed with Jude and were blessed with a clean, roomy and comforatable place to rest after a long hard day of work. Barbara is a wonderful cook and the guesthouse is the cleanest I have ever stayed in my 15 years of ministry in Haiti. It was cleaner that the Holiday Inn in Miami. Thanks Jude and Barabara for a great time. We will be back!!!!

What grabs your attention is the owners fantastic smile and welcoming attitude. He was quick to tell our group to "make yourself at home" and we did. The open airy atmosphere was perfect. Even though there were two groups in the house we had more than enough room to relax, enjoy some quiet time or talk in small groups. there were several porch areas, and even some places to sit on the roof and enjoy the scenery. The host is accomadating, has a wonderful attitude. This is definitly a place to bring a group or come singley to decompress from a day of ministry and activity.

We loved Estinfil guest house & will definitely be back. Jude & Barbara are excellent hosts and it is a beautiful home & safe place to stay. My only suggestion is to add a water jug for guests to have available for drinking water. But, we LOVED this place & appreciate how easy and convenient they made our stay. THANKS, JUDE -- Kara Foster

The house is very comfortable with all the North American amenities you could want. The staff pays attention to detail, and makes your stay pleasant. I've stayed at a lot of guest houses and this one has everything you could expect in a more expensive hotel.

Traveled to Haiti on business and stayed at Estinfil Guesthouse. I was extremely satisfied staying with Jude, my first night there I woke next morning and thought I was at home. The staff is friendly, the food excellent and the service is perfect, internet available via WIFI and Ethernet connections. When traveling to Haiti, you can’t do better than Estinfil Guesthouse for clean comfortable accommodations. Jude will do all he can to make your stay memorable.

To everyone who is looking forward in visiting Haiti whether for business, pleasure, or to see a family member, I am pleased to recommend you Estinfil guest houses. It is very nice, quiet, and a secure place to stay. I stayed there for more than 10 days during my trip last January; and, I am looking forward for another stay pretty soon again. You will not regret it from the minute you step in at the gate throughout your stay at Estinfil Guest houses where the hospitality of the owner (Mr. Estinfil) and his staff will definitely enchant you.

Staying at this guesthouse was so delightful. Jude is a wonderful host! We enjoyed staying here and will stay again when we return to Haiti. I didn't pay for our stay so I can't rate the value. Sitting on the roof is a wonderful retreat!!

My stay at Estinfils' is a wonderful experience here in Haiti. The rooms are large and clean. The full-size bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of room to unpack your luggage and relax. Mr. Jude Estinfil provides top notch service to all guest and he has an outstanding personality. He makes himself available at all times to try to meet individual needs. This guesthouse is safe and makes you feel like you are at home. Direct TV is available to keep up with the news around the world. If you come to Haiti for a short or long term, I would recommend Estinfils' Guesthouse.--Jeanette

We travel to Haiti 6-8 times a year to help out. We stayed at Estinfil Guesthouses for the first time. The outside was clean and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and neat. Fresh white towels and washcloths in the bathroom Remember this is Haiti so you will not have a hot shower and the water pressure from the shower is nothing like home. There was airconditioning and a fan. Yeah! We did have power most of the time. We will return!

I was recently in Port Au Prince completing some relief work, and I stayed at the Estinfil guesthouse. The place was immaculate, always clean and the meals that they offered were simply amazing! I had to spend more than 8 days to complete my work in the country, I managed to lengthen my stay to be sure to stay at Jude's place, with steady electricity and AC. However, all of this is nothing when compared to the staff and their friendly nature. In the owner's off time, he drove me to the hills to get some breathtaking views of the city and he introduced me to fine people throughout my stay. I don't know when I'll be called back to Haiti, but I know where I'll be staying for sure!

This has been by far the best place we have stayed in Haiti hands down! Jude and his wife go above and beyond making your stay the best it can be. The service is absolutely wonderful. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the food served each day was great! This guest house made for a wonderful couple weeks in Haiti!

Why stay any where else? The Host, hostess, and staff are kinder than close family. We've previously stayed at local popular hotels and this B&B has much more to offer at a much fairer price. Food never tasted better. TV family style living room with big flat screen with all the US channels, wi-fi, computer, cool breeze patio, private dining, ultra clean rooms and linens. Thank you. Bye, but I'm coming back.

Jude, you are a gift, and so is your guesthouse. From the moment you sent the driver to come get me from the airport out of courtesy I knew this was not going to be a normal bed and breakfast. Coming to Haiti for the first time I imaged very spartan accommodations so when the gates opened up from the warzone outside and revealed this magical oasis of peace and comfort and I was blown away. Barbara cooked me breakfast and dinner everyday, the fridge was always stocked with water, coke, sprite and beer, and Jude was always just a call away to help with anything I needed. I felt like family within minutes, and they felt like family by the time I left, and the guesthouse felt like my home. The best part is everything was super-reasonably priced. I can not wait to come back. I miss you guys. Much love! P.S. just like in 99% of the country, there's no hot water, and as hot as Haiti is, you don't really need it. I give this place 9 thumbs up!!!

I stayed at this guest house for only three nights. It was a short getaway from the country side of Haiti. My husband and I have never felt at home until we came to Jude’s guest house. The staff there is very welcoming. The rooms are super clean; I could not find one dust. The other guests at the time of our stay were friendly; it felt like everyone was a big happy family. One thing I dislike about the place is the outside roads. Other than that this is a great place to spend time in.

Staying one week at Estinfil Guesthouses was really pleasant and memorable. It's located in a peaceful area where you feel safe and very welcomed. The guesthouse staff took good care of us on every aspects : breakfast, lunch, dinner, laundry... The house is amazing and cosy, so you really feel being home! I have just returned from a week+ in Haiti for work (journalism/stories about Haiti one year after the earthquake.) The accomodations were perfect. To say that Jude, the owner, goes the extra mile is an understatement. He took such efficient, kind and gentle care of our whole TV crew - from making sure working environment was perfect (including internet), to having a gorgeous meal on the table within minutes (knowing we had a tight schedule) - he was extraordinary. The house is lovely, super clean and very homey. We were fortunate to stay here. I hope to return very soon with my family!
