I stayed here my girlfriend as we wanted a romantic weekend away. I must say I was very pleased with our stay. It was very romantic and beautiful, both the rooms and the whole ambience of the house and surrounding area. My favorite part of the stay was waking up in our bed with a view straight out onto the river and the boats going past, and heading off to by far the best guesthouse breakfasts I've ever had. We also really liked the friendly, warm staff, and the amazing courtyard with all kinds of animals in the centre of the house. A lovely place. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at the Rhein River Guesthouse recently on our first night in Germany after a long day of traveling. It was very relaxing and interesting. After taking a nice walk along the Rhein River we had a peaceful stay in the Tree Top Room which was over the courtyard with bird cages of many birds who were quiet at night leaving us to a good night's rest. The next morning we had a great breakfast of egg, meats and cheeses, breads and jellies, coffee and juices prepared by Frans and then toured the bird cages and walked among the peacocks who performed for us by spreading their plumes. The house also has a rotating modern art exhibit and promotes art, music and meditative practices with groups that come in for seminars. We liked it so much that we stayed again at the end of our journey in Germany and had another room with a river view; just as lovely. The staff was warm and friendly, reflecting the peaceful ambiance of this guesthouse.
