The Inn is located 300 yards from the beach and Tybee Lighthouse, on the quiet end of the island. Relax and renew at the Lighthouse Inn Bed & Breakfast located on a tranquil piece of paradise known as Tybee Island, Georgia's first barrier island. THE EXPERIENCE: Imagine yourself strolling a peaceful beautiful beach, watching a spectacular sunrise, hearing the soothing sounds of waves crashing or watching dolphins and birds playing off-shore. HISTORY: The Inn was built in 1910 and served as officer housing for the historic Fort Screven. Our romantic inn was once the home of the bandmaster for the fort and a baby grand piano awaits you in the front parlor to allow you to continue the sound of music. WHAT'S UNIQUE: Original art adorns the walls in all the sunny guest rooms and common areas. Each morning enjoy our southern style breakfast including homemade biscuits. During the day explore the island. Southern hospitality awaits you at the Lighthouse Inn. GUEST ROOMS: All have queen-size beds, privates baths, cable TV and mini-fridges. TYBEE ISLAND: Climb the Tybee Lighthouse (178 steps), kayak the wild lonely shores of Tybee or neighboring islands, or relax in a rocking chair on the porch of the inn enjoying your favorite beverage. NEARBY SAVANNAH: Visit historic Savannah, just 20 minutes away, and then return to the island for excellent dining and nightlife.

We booked the Inn for our 10 year Anniversary and hadn't stayed there since before we were married. Found out that it had a new owner in the last year and was pleasantly surprised that the stay was as good if not better than we remembered. The addition of a pool was a nice touch. My wife and I highly recommend staying here.

We had a fabulous stay at this great B&B in an old historic home on Tybee. It was very near the 3rd oldest Lighthouse in the country, dates to pre-revoluntionary war! That had a great museum as well as one in the Battery. The owners Liza and Tony were very helpful with suggestions of events and restaurants. They asked if we had suggestions as their inn keeping experience is new. We highly recommend this great B&B, and, Liza's breakfasts were outstanding! - David & Linda...

We had a wonderful stay at this great historic Tybee Island B&B. Our hosts, Liza and Tony, were very helpful in suggesting local attractions, restaurants for dinner, and were there with us all the time. Since they are new owners they asked suggestions as we've stayed at many B&B's. So our connection was excellent! We highly recommend this B&B! - David & Linda...

Our stay at this great historic B&B in an old home was wonderful! Our hosts, Liza and Tony, were the best, their breakfasts were wonderful, including Hawaiiin coffee! They had excellent restaurant suggestions and recreation opportunities. Staying near the old Lighthouse, dating before the Revolutionary War, was great, as will as Tybee's beaches. We highly recommend and will go again someday, or some other properties owned by the Innkeepers.

We thoroughly enjoyed this B&B on Tybee, the owners Liza and Tony were fabulous. As new Innkeepers they were clearly excited with this new experience and their renovations to this historic home are very good. They were so gracious and asked us recommendations as we've experienced many B&B's. We want to visit them again and perhaps experience other rentals they have. We highly recommend this B&B!

Nice location on Tybee within walking distance to the Lighthouse Museum. Certain amenities missing - no towel bars, no place to put shampoo or bar of soap etc. inside the claw foot tub (which was awkward to shower in) Good creative breakfasts and excellent coffee.

This B&B is exactly as described- peaceful, elegant and relaxing. The owners are kind, courteous, knowledgeable of the area, and make the stay that much more enjoyable. I wish we could go back tomorrow!

Location! Location! Location! This place was nestled in just a few blocks from the Lighthouse and the Beach. In the mornings we could smell the breakfast from our room and could not wait to come down to eat. My wife and I stayed in the "Green Room" and would highly recommend it. The bed was comfortable and we wouldn't have even known others were staying there unless we saw them at breakfast. I highly recommend this BnB if you are looking for a quiet beach getaway. We will be back!
