Delightful in Every Way!

5 on June 20, 2017

My husband and I recently enjoyed a three night stay at Green Palm Inn, and it was a delight in every way. The breakfasts were amazing, as were the afternoon pre-dinner appetizers and wine. Our room was very comfortable, and the inn is in a very convenient location. We parked our vehicle and didn't move it during our stay. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. Diane truly has a gift of hospitality, and it felt that we were visiting with an old friend. We highly recommend Green Palm Inn and can't wait to return.

Quick Getaway

The Green Palm Inn was a fantastic choice for our quick weekend getaway. Close to everything in Historic Savannah. The owner goes above and beyond, and truly made us feel like a extension of her family. We are already planning our return trip to Savannah and the number one think we are looking at is availability of the Green Palm Inn.

We enjoyed 2 nights as guests at the Inn. Diane was so helpful in planning our days exploring Savannah. The breakfasts were delicious, plentiful, beautiful, and uniquely Southern. We enjoyed the location due to being in easy walking distance to the historic area. Another per is that just around the corner is Cha Bella, a wonderful restaurant for the evening meal!!

Short and sweet

My husband and I spent one night here along our road trip and loved it. Diane was a wonderful host. Once we arrived, she sat us for a breofing on the area and must sees with a map in hand for us to keep. There was wine and tasty snacks out shortly after we checked in. Diane made sure that there were no allergies before deciding breakfast which was very thoughtful. We will surely be back!

Amazing First B&B Experience

5 on April 11, 2017

The Green Palm Inn was an INCREDIBLE place to stay on our mini vacation. We felt like we were at home! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location couldn't be beat, and breakfast in the morning was amazing. Mrs. Diane was a great hostess, offering a glass of wine and reviewing a map with us when we got in so we could walk around and get our bearings. She knew so much about the area, the only downside was that we couldn't stay for longer!!

Lovely, lovely, lovely!

An excellent experience. Super-comfy bed, great food, lovely hostess, good location, easy-going yet polished vibe. Green Palm is fairly expensive for a B&B, but it is high-end and well worth the splurge.

My husband and I stayed last summer and we'll be going back. The accommodations are wonderful, and Diane does a lovely wine and appetizer hour. The breakfast is also amazing. You definitely have the feeling of privacy and your own space in her rooms.

Would Stay No Where Else in Savannah!

5 on March 02, 2015

Tim and I have stayed in the Green Palm Inn numerous times, by ourselves and with friends in the last two years. We "Would Stay No Where Else" while visiting in Savannah. No matter what time you arrive at the Inn, 2:00 in the afternoon or 3:00 in the morning, you feel welcomed! The Inn itself is quaint, warm and relaxing, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful, the full breakfast each morning is amazing and there are no words to describe how gracious Diane and her Staff are! If you are traveling to Savannah or through Savannah, make your reservation! You won't regret it!

A WONDERFUL retreat in Savannah,

5 on July 22, 2014

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed for three nights at The Green Palm Inn. Diane and her staff could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. Our room (The Sabal Palm) was so serene, comfortable, well appointed, and very clean! Breakfast was more than ample and always delicious. You will need to stroll the beautiful Savannah squares after eating such wonderful food! We walked most of the squares, enjoyed the town center, strolled River Street, visited shops, restaurants and museums, all without moving our car! It was lovely to return to the Inn for a little peace and quiet before going to dinner. If you work up an appetite walking about the city, the 4-6 pm happy hour will tempt you with lovely sweets and savories, as well as wine and other beverages. Diane had many helpful suggestions to help us during our stay. We eagerly look forward to our next visit to The Green Palm Inn.

Cozy, comfortable, and amazing breakfasts!

As a single gal, I felt welcome and taken care of at the Green Palm... Diane is an attentive, but not overbearing, hostess who will give you honest advice about what to see in Savannah, and who makes the best B&B breakfasts I've ever had... elaborate French toast, fresh fruit, wonderful smoothies, etc... plus, there are hors d'ouevres every afternoon. My room was cozy and the bed quite comfortable. The inn is on the edge of the historic district, so you'll do a bit more walking than if you stayed at other places, but the district is so small that it hardly makes a difference if you are an average walker. A sweet place to stay and a relative bargain in pricey historic Savannah.
