Located 5 minutes from Atlanta's Int Airport and 6 miles from downtown Atlanta, Maison LaVigne is located in the Historic neighborhood of Hapeville, on a tiny one-way street, close to I-85 & I-75. The home is circa 1906 and offers 3 deluxe accommodations with in-suite bathrooms and fine linens from Portugal, France & Belgium, as well as private dining and meeting space for 16 guests.

This bed and breakfast is a gem miraculously located next to one of the busiest airports in America. We liked everything about its location on a tiny street along with wonderful gourmet bistro nearby, a French pastry cafe on the corner (owned and operated by the B&B owner) and the occasional choo choo freight train much to my husband's delight. Now the B&B itself is amazing. We stayed in the lovely Bordeaux suite. I couldn't begin to describe the charm of this suite. While it is updated in terms of comfort and practicality, Elaine (the owner) has managed to do it in a way that is authentic to the turn of the century. I slept very soundly that night as well. The breakfast was gourmet and tasty. You will not be disappointed. We are looking forward to a future stay next time we go to Atlanta.

Convenient to I85 so getting there was easy and getting back on the road was convenient. The accommodations are lush and the inn keeper really helps you feel at home. House was cool and comfortable, a nice surprise given the Atlanta summer heat/ humidity. Breakfast was delicious: spinach quiche with Gouda, chocolate croissants, and fresh fruit crepes with delicious coffee (all homemade)! We will be back any time we visit Atlanta!

We had a great time at Maison LaVigne. I surprised my husband and took him her for Fathers Day weekend. We also took advantage of the cooking class, which made for a really sweet experience. We decided to send my husband’s parents there as well for a get away, and definitely could see us coming back at another time . Strongly recommend staying here. It’s like visiting a friend’s house for the weekend.

Not recommended, if you want a good night's sleep. Close to ATL, but planes taking off are not the problem and easily blocked out with earplugs. Trains running straight through Hapeville at all times of the day are the problem, including 3 AM, and they don't go easy on the horns at intersections, which are two coming, one BIG ONE in center of town, and two going. This fact is not included in the ratings, i.e., Quality of Sleep, and is most important in my book, thus the high ratings overall.
Dear Guest: Please accept my apologies for your sleepless night! I wish I had known so I could do something special for you to make things more pleasant in the morning. We are located in a cosmopolitan area and while some love the little train in our town and think it is quaint, it disturbed you and for that I am truly sorry.

We only spent one night, but as my husband commented, the breakfast alone was worth the cost of the room. Eileen was friendly and kind and the room was lovely.
Awwh! Thank you for the wonderful compliment for the breakfast. I always want it to be so special for each guest. Hope to have you again in the future for another getaway! A Bientot! Eileen

The B&B was located in a convenient yet quiet neighborhood. Our inn keeper was very personable and interesting to talk with relative to our mutual Paris, France experiences. Breakfast was delightful

Our family hosted an event the weekend we visited and my partner and I reserved a room at Maison LaVigne and I'm so glad we did ... it really was the icing on the cake for an absolutely lovely weekend all around. Innkeeper Eileen is a sweetheart and made us feel right at home. Our room was definitely an inviting and comfortable retreat ... the bed was dream inducing! Ms. Eileen cooked up delicious breakfast each morning (Irish Bangers on St. Patricks Day! My first time and they were yummy). Her little Mac, a terrier, met us at our door and walked us to breakfast ... he is a real sweetheart like his momma. We enjoyed talking to Eileen and getting to know her and sharing a bottle of wine with her! Thank you Eileen, for being so wonderful and welcoming. We loved spending time with you at your Inn and hope to stay in touch!
