It was my husbands first time at a B&B and I can't thank Long Mountain Lodge for givifng him the best experience at a B&B. The innkeeper and his family were so giving and made our stay very enjoying. Even though we lost power do to a snow fall that weekend they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding by Dianne. Thank you all again for such a enjoying weekend. The lodge and setting were very inviting. We were met by a very friendly and hospitable Robyn followed by Diane who we felt at home with immediately. Our breakfast on the porch was delicious and then we got to meet an equally friendly Don, the innkeeper, who was especially helpful as my husband went for a little walk and lost his bearings and was lost. After talking with him and getting his description of area, Don jumped into the jeep and went to find him with no trouble! Thanks again, Diane and Don for helping out two gray-haired seniors!
Thank you for your kind review. We enjoyed meeting you both! We hope to see you in the future, Dianne and Don

We're from Atlanta and decided to spend two nights at the Long Mountain B&B for our anniversary. Diane and Tim spoiled us completely with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Our room was beautiful with a fireplace and french doors overlooking the mountains. Breakfast both mornings was absolutely amazing and delicious. The warmth of all those who were a part of this B&B were wonderful. Our stay could not have been better. We highly recommend this fabulous lodge. 2/29 - 3/2, 2016

We had a wonderful time. We were taken on a tour as soon as we arrived. Very nice helpful man went out of his way to help us with where to go. Beautiful view. The room was small but very clean and nice. The breakfast was the best part. We had three course meal. Each one was so good I bought a cookbook.

Wow, where do I begin? The host and hostess were absolutely the friendliest people whom you would want to meet. When we arrived we received a tour of the home and the grounds. Our room was more than we expected and the extra touches were definitely a surprise. Our room had a wood burning fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, standup shower, cable television, DVD player and an awesome view of the mountains. We enjoyed the sunset with 3 other couples on the large wrap around porch with rockers. Diane even provided the cheese platter with a carafe of white wine and a carafe of sherry. Her Belgium waffles for breakfast were the best that we have ever eaten. The value for the money makes staying at Long Mountain Lodge a must for our next weekend away. Next time we plan on fishing at the well stocked lake and build a bonfire.
