We stayed 2 nights in the red room in the cottage. We had lovely breakfasts, the blueberry cream cheese coffee cake was my favorite. It was a very relaxing stay, the rooms were clean, the bathroom large and we felt very comfortable on the grounds. Definitely would go back again.
Carolyn and Tom are marvelous hosts and outstanding chefs! Our suite (cottage red) was lovely, roomy, and airy. The view from our deck was incredible. We also enjoyed the common spaces. The extras (including complimentary beer in fridge!) were special. They have thought of everything.
we have stayed here four years; once for five days and three times for ten days. A wonderful experience with both the hosts and other guests. Breakfast by Carolyn and served by Tom on the patio is a perfect way to begin the day. The peninsula is several miles from Bath, Coveside is quiet, restful and lovely. Classic port towns like Wiscasset, Boothbay, and Damaricotta are a short drive.
This was our first visit to Maine and people like Penny make us want to come back. Great views, breakfast, company.... I cannot list all of the benefits this B&B has to offer. All I can say is everyone should stay here at least one time, which will make you come back over and over. Thank you Maine for a truly wonderful experience.
Could look at that view forever! There are few places on earth so comfortable and serene! We love staying there and plan to go back. House and grounds are as beautiful as photos show. Rooms are well maintained and clean. They have thought of everything you might need. Breakfasts are amazing! Hosts are so welcoming! A definite must stay!!
We have stayed in excellent Inns in many scenic areas. Coveside is by far the most delightful we have found. From the amazing water views, to the charming gardens, on to the welcoming and comfortable decor, guests are charmed by the sights, sounds and smells of Maine. Further, Tom and Carolyn create a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Their two course breakfast are fresh and scrumptious! We kayaked each morning from the Inn's dock, around the near islands and had the delight of seeing seals in the water near us. Wonderful stay!!
what a beautiful setting for this beautiful home with every amenity carefully and beautifully presented. Tom and Carolyn were most gracious hosts and the breakfast was spectacular! If you haven't visited Georgetown yet, be sure and stay at this lovely b&b when you do!
We enjoyed our stay at Coveside Bed & Breakfast, had a wonderful time. Our room The Forest Room was just darling, and what a view. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and Tom & Carolyn are delightful innkeepers. We would love to return some time on another visit to lovely State of Maine.
My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the Coveside. The location is spectacular very relaxing and peaceful. Carolyn the Innkeeper (Tom was away watching grandkids) was so gracious and welcoming and is a fantastic cook and baker - wonderful breakfasts. The setting for this Inn as well as the professionally designed gardens is remarkable. Looking forward to our next stay.
We stayed at Coveside for the second time and plan to make the trip to Georgetown time and time again. The food that Tom and Carolyn serve is inventive and delicious, the rooms and grounds are charming, and the setting on the cove is so tranquil and gorgeous!
We have been returning here for years. Everything, from the location to the beautiful and comfortable rooms to the incredible gourmet breakfasts, are wonderful. This is our go to place when we want to get away from it all and relax by the ocean. Having Reid State park and Five Islands lobster spot minutes away, you could not ask for more. Tom and Carolyn are the perfect hosts. Can't wait to go back! Clare Merva
My husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of days on Georgetown Island at the recommendation of a friend. We found Coveside B&B and what a treat it was! Tom & Carolyn and the Coveside should be the model that all B&B's should strive for! Thank you for a magnificent stay!
Our stay at Coveside was wonderful! The view from the B&B over the cove was serene. We were able to enjoy a beverage sitting in Adirondack chairs over looking the cove. The rooms were very clean and decorated for cheer and relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious, and every morning we were down on the patio enjoying coffee and meeting other guests while waiting for that wonderful breakfast. Coveside also provides a canoe for guests to use as well as passes to Reid State Park. We took advantage of that and spent a wonderful morning canoeing around the coves. And we spent a day at the park which was beautiful!
My husband and I stayed at Coveside for our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed our stay! The breakfasts prepared by Carolyn each day were definitely a highlight of our stay, everything was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms and shared spaces are comfortable and cozy. We would definitely recommend Coveside to a friend!
We had a wonderful stay at the Coveside B&B. Carolyn & Tom Church are gracious and informative hosts. Picturesque gardens, rolling back lawn that goes down to a cove, watched the lobster boats delivering to a co-op dock. Enjoyed the sites in the Georgetown area as well as our visit to the Botanical Garden in Boothbay. A must see.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 6 nights at Coveside. Fabulous! Love the setting, Tom and Carolyn, our room, our view, the food, Maine! Cannot praise Tom and Carolyn enough for their hospitality and eye for detail. We enjoyed meeting fellow guests and wished we had had more time to visit. We highly recommend Coveside! Stella and Robert
We recently returned to Coveside for the third time and had a wonderful four day stay there. Tom was away but Carolyn and the girls made us welcome as always. We stayed in Tom's room which is about the same size as our bedroom at home so no problems there. Breakfasts were as good as we remembered, the weather was kind and the only thing wrong was that 5islands Lobsters were closed in the week! Never mid - we shall just have to come back again! Just a short two night stay, came to have lobster and celebrate my wife's birthday. Carolyn and Tom are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are spectacular and the lodging even better. Everything clean and spotless. The grounds are beautiful. We will be back next year.
Superb setting: landscaping, architecture, views, plus outstanding rooms with well maintained, decorated rooms, private porches with water views, refrigerator stocked with complementary wine/beer/soft drinks. Hostess welcoming, well-informed and articulate, with excellent breakfast. Can't ask or hope for more!
We chose the Coveside B&B as our first get-a-way. It was an amazing weekend, one I will never forget! Romantic! The views of the cove was breath taking, the Inn Keepers, Carolyn & Tom were very friendly and hospitable! The area had several things to see and do. We plan to return every year!!!
What a gem this place is! Beautiful views, immaculate and comfortable accommodations, beautiful gardens and the most wonderful food ever!!! We felt so warmly welcomed and at home here. Carolyn and Tom are such gracious hosts who provided tons of information about things to do, places to see and restaurants to visit. Our favorite was the lobster wharf nearby with the freshest seafood at amazingly affordable prices (an easy walk). We also spend many hours at nearby Reid State Park. This was a wonderful retreat and an experience we will repeat!
Tom and Carolyn have gone all out to provide a wonderful experience. They renovated the Coveside in such a way as to give every room a great view. Their are plenty of outside and covered porch sitting areas to relax in. The breakfasts were very creative and delicious served in their indoor or outdoor dining room overlooking a beautiful view with water and garden flowers. The b&b is close to a great lobster dock eatery and beautiful state park.
