Great house true to the local architectural style. We loved the separate apartment and perfect location a half mile from Forsythe park, 1 mile to the river so easy walking distances. Great local restaurants away from more touristy sections within blocks of the house. We loved Cotton & Rye and Foxy Loxy (breakfast and coffee). Keith was a great host. Our furry companion felt right at home. There is no on-site dining per say, but there were great bagels and muffins and other breakfast items such as yogurt and orange juice and a bottle of wine as a greeting which we enjoyed. The local restaurant recommendations were great.

This B&B is in a beautiful restored mansion in the Victorian Historic District in Savannah. It is in a very walkable area of town and near many wonderful restaurants. The innkeepers run a first class operation. The rooms are lovely and include many nice amenities. They allow dogs and since the suites are quiet and cool (AC was wonderful); I could leave my bloodhound in the room while I went out to eat or explore. I will visit again. TAL - Asheville, NC

Visited our daughter, who is a student at SCAD, for a long weekend and found The Galloway House online the day we were set to arrive. The carriage house was very comfortable for two. The living room is a comfortable relaxing space to enjoy morning coffee before headed out for the day, or a pre dinner drink before hitting up the local dining scene. Location is close enough to downtown without being in the thick of it. We'd definitely return.

Our stay was comfortable and appreciated the breakfast items. We weren't really there to hang around the house, so for the value it was a bit expensive but I did make last minute reservations so that is what I get. The picture you see on the website is gorgeous and it doesn't quite look this gorgeous in person especially with the surroundings. The owners were very nice and obviously put alot of work into the home and I appreciate that. Thanks again for the hospitality.

We could not have asked for better hosts!!! Keith had answers for any question we had about Savannah- and some great 'off the beaten path' ones to explore too. We wanted for nothing - they anticipated our every need , and made our stay feel like we were visiting family~ even Down to the puppy kisses from their entourage of Great Danes ¿¿ We will definitely stay at the Galloway House again!!!! My daughter and I visited Savannah for a brief vacation. We stayed in the top floor apartment, and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the early morning light, my daughter not so much! There was a tiny porch outside the entrance which was nice, but there is not much of a view from there. The garden in the back yard is beautiful,I could have spent more time there. We asked and Keith was generous enough to introduce us to their dog! Parking was on the street and there were also two spots in the alley behind the house and we never had trouble finding a place to park. The B & B does not provide a breakfast in a dining room, but breakfast foods (bagels, muffins, yogurt, OJ, coffee, tea) were provided and replenished as needed. Technically there was no onsite dining, but there are several eating establishments within walking distance. Jim and Keith were absolutely helpful and friendly. We got some pointers on where to walk for a meal and other tips on ways to explore Savannah. Overall, I was pleased with our visit and would certainly stay here again!

Fabulous stay! The first floor carriage house was delightful and large enough for a 2 nite stay. Gardens are breathtaking. Jim was so helpful before and during checkin. Communicating with via text was helpful prior to checkin. Thank you for you hospitality.

I live and work on the 2nd floor of the main house with (3) rescued Great Danes along with my partner Jim. I've traveled through all of Central America, most of South America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia so I know how important a bottle of wine, a hot shower and a good bed can be after a long day on the road.
