My husband and I have stayed at SHI twice now, and have had the best experiences there. We love the attention to detail: the design, decor, towels, linens, amenities-- it's all tops! Also, it doesn't feel "old" like some B&Bs can be like. It has been completely renovated and feels brand new on the inside. I wish they'd come decorate my house! If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, this place is perfect. It's also within walking distance to downtown Monroe, which is full of Southern charm and character. We will definitely return!

We were only able to stay one night on our way to another location. Rooms were very nice and staff was very helpful and welcoming. If we are back that way, would definitely stay again!

This was our first visit to the Sparrow Hill Inn and first B&B experience. After considering Chateau Elan and the W to celebrate my wife's birthday, we decided to do something different. We are so happy we did! It was obvious from the minute we walked in that no expense is spared at this beautiful property. It has been restored exquisitely and top of the line linens and bath products were provided. The service was amazing; it was friendly and professional without being intrusive. We enjoyed talking with the innkeeper, Kimberly, and her husband while being served a delicious, gourmet breakfast. We stayed in Suite 1, which offered a luxurious tub, modern shower, and a spacious sitting room. The third floor had another sitting area with a fridge and snacks. We talked about how great Sparrow Hill would be for rehearsals, showers, or other events. We will definitely be back in the future. If you're considering it, don't hesitate - just go. You'll be glad you did!

We recently stayed at Sparrow Hill Inn for my daughter's wedding in Monroe. The property is amazing! Beautiful, clean, luxurious, spacious room that exceeded my expectations; a breakfast buffet fit for royalty; friendly, helpful and cooperative staff! I was so impressed with Sparrow Hill Inn that I will be looking for another reason to visit Monroe just so I can stay here again. I recommend this location to anyone who is looking for something very special. Mary Griswell Mitchell, Georgia

We went for a weekend getaway at the Sparrow Hill Inn. The Inn is an updated take on the southern antebellum mansion. The owners have obviously invested significant $ to make this such an inviting place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are super comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated with high end fixtures as well. Breakfast was provided as part of our package and it was a four star experience. I can't overstate how much we enjoyed the meals. We were there to spend some time in nearby Athens and it was an easy drive back and forth. The town of Monroe is quaint and had a few nice restaurants and antique shops. If there was any disappointment, it was a minor one. We were provided with two towels in the bathroom and wished there had been a couple of extras. It's a small complaint compared to everything else that was so nice. By the way, the owners provide complementary drinks, snacks, chocolate and designer soaps. We thought that was a nice touch.
Thanks so much for the review! We always love hearing from our guests and we strive to be better with every stay. We hope you will come back for a visit in the future - we would love to have you. Safe travels - -

My husband and I stayed at this B&B on the night of our wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. We got in late, but it was easy to get into the house and up to our room. The interior was very beautifully decorated and the room was very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! In the morning, we were brought breakfast in bed, and it was very well executed. We loved this place and it will most definitely not be our last visit there!
Thank you so much for the kind review! We are always excited to have newlyweds stay with us and breakfast in bed is a must after all the wedding events! Please come back and see us again - we would love to have you! Best wishes on a wonderful life together.
