My boyfriend and I had the best weekend. Crystal(the innkeeper) was prompt when we arrived. She was super friendly and really informative. The Americana room was awesome, very clean, accessible and the bed was huge. We stargazed, went to see the animals, on the tire swing, canoeing and on the nature trail.

Enjoyed our visit very much. Owners and staff become like old friends from the very start. Peaceful surroundings and charming accommodations in a convenient location to lake activities and small town shopping. Perfect for couples, families, and reunions. I’ll be back. Donald B.

If you enjoy animals and being on a mini farm this is the place! We stayed for one night and loved it - very quiet, relaxing and we enjoyed the many animals on the 50 acre property...goats, chickens, horses, donkey, rooster, peacock, dogs. It is a short drive to Madison where we went for dinner at the Mint Julep (scallops/shrimp)Crystal and Ellis are terrific hosts. It is also a short drive to an alpaca farm - Craftdal Farms (need appt.) Overall we highly recommend the Farmhouse Inn!!!

My daughter and I stayed here on our return trip home and fell in love with it. We stayed in the Hay Loft room located above the Red Barn, the room was quiet and quaint. It overlooked the barn area which was perfect for my daughter. There is not a restaurant onsite as with other B&B's I have visited. They do offer snacks and drinks in the common room and just ask for a donation. We enjoyed walking the property and hanging out in the barn with the horses as well as some quiet time on the porch reading. Breakfast was wonderful and it gave us time to get to know the Crystal (Inn keepers) and the history of the farm. We cant wait to return!

My wife and I visited Madison, GA for our 25th Anniversary. We were looking for a quiet bed and breakfast with private rooms. The Farmhouse Inn was the perfect choice. Breakfast was fantastic each morning, and out room had a private entrance and rocking chairs on the porch outside. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. There was a beautiful oak tree with a tire sing and chickens and turkeys roaming free on the grounds out by the main road. The summer sunsets were beautiful there as well. The Innkeeper was pleasant and seemed to genuinely care about her guests. We stayed in the Americana room and enjoyed the spacious room. My only complaint was that the pillows were flat and I was not a fan of the organic soap that does not lather. So you might want to bring your own pillow and soap.

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in River Room, which is larger than online photos. Very relaxing- we toured the farm and gardens, and the birds and butterflies were fun to watch. We had been driving thru GA for several days, so we brought sandwiches for dinner and spent 3 hours rocking on the porch overlooking the farm. A really great summer night. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We would love to go back

Highly recommend this lovely inn!!!! It looked lovely from the photos online but was even better once we arrived! Peaceful and relaxing location and room and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! My husband and I came for a short getaway for our anniversary but we will be back for sure and have already told several friends and family members they HAVE to stay here - it was a peaceful haven for us! Just perfect!
