Thank you so much John for your amazing hospitality during our stay last week. The rooms are so delightfully decorated and we loved being able to tour the house. It was wonderful being able to meet other guests during Sipping n Nibblin hour. We stayed for a surprise trip for my husbands birthday and I chose the Salvatore Brothers Study. This was perfect! We loved hearing your stories about restoring the house with your wife Nicole and the history of the house. The added bonus was hearing about the movies that had been filmed there too. We love this place so much we have already booked our next stay. Our goal is to stay in every room! Thank you so much for preserving the beauty and history of this elegant home. Bev and Dan

We recently spent the weekend at 12 Oaks. So often when you see something on the Internet when you get there it is a disappointment. 12 Oaks was everything it presented itself to be. Our room was beautiful, the breakfast was exceptional. The location was perfect just a walk to a charming town. We would definitely recommend it and intend to go back.

We stayed at the Twelve Oaks for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I have nothing but positives to say. Right from the initially greeting and tour, to the much anticipated and enjoyed Sippin' and Nibblin' hour, to the suggestions for local walking tours and eateries, to the turn down service, to the most comfortable beds to the absolutely fantastic breakfasts - our stay was truly memorable. If you are fortunate enough to discover this hidden gem, I would highly, highly encourage a stay through the week, when we found it very quiet and peaceful - particularly having early morning coffee on the balcony. Treat yourself - you won't go wrong here!!!

Very nice B & B. Spacious room, unique shower - even though I was a little short for it, gorgeous antiques, nice quiet area. Enjoyed walking around the town square. Service personnel were friendly and helpful.
1st Floor Suite: The Salvatore Brother's Study Suite was once used as the study in this large estate and has stunning mahogany woodwork throughout that frames the remote control fireplace. This suite has a rich appeal that features a beautiful antique rosewood bed with ornate carvings to fit with the library like style. With original tile, tub and shower, the bath here can feel as if you're stepping through time as you touch the antique fixtures. Since the house was built in 1836, the bath was not part of the original design, but is likely one of the first bath additions made to the house and care was taken to preserve this wonder.
1st Floor Junior Suite: The Frankly Scarlett Junior Suite is located on the front of the house with a gorgeous view through the massive columns on two sides of the porch. Featuring an antique tester bed, this room has a definite Gone with the Wind theme that will have you feeling like Scarlett. And the bath is just scintillating with its luxurious Carrera marble tile, crystal sconces and a huge shower with ceiling rain head, two showerheads and a hand spray that will keep you from missing the tub. ?Turn the pages of your favorite book as you curl up by the remote control fireplace in this junior suite or lounge in the antique bed and enjoy the 55" flat panel.
2nd Floor Suite: In the Heat of the Night Suite is a charming room that features beautiful antique French doors leading to a private enclosed porch perfect for reading a great book! The bath has an antique claw foot tub with standing shower, new fixtures and the original tile floor, which was uncovered during renovation. This room has a gorgeous original fireplace that has been converted to gas and comes with a remote for the ultimate in historic beauty with modern convenience. The name of this room pays homage to the role Twelve Oaks played as a set for many episodes in the hit television series, "In the Heat of the Night".
2nd Floor Grand Suite: Katherine's Mirror Image Grand Suite is a very large room on the front of the house with a great view overlooking the columns on two sides of the house. This grand suite has a beautiful king size bed with mirrored headboard that is one of guests' favorites, and you can soak next to the fire just like you would have almost two centuries ago in the in-room double slipper (2 person) claw foot tub. Have a once in a lifetime experience in this suite with a very rare antique luxury shower from the late 1800's that was featured on Good Day Atlanta and in Deep South Magazine, and were found in places such as Buckingham Palace. The ribcage shower can be viewed at Biltmore Estate, but Twelve Oaks is one of the very few places you can take a shower in one! The Twelve Oaks really does ensure its guests receive the "royal treatment," and many say this is the best shower they've ever had!
3rd Floor Grand Suite: Steel Magnolias is a gorgeous grand suite with an enormous spa bath featuring a jetted pedestal tub where you can luxuriate with chromo-therapy and aromatherapy. This bath also has a large 2-person shower where you can revel in the three rain heads and elegant thermal fixtures. As you step into this suite you can't miss the beautiful queen French style bed with ornate suave drapings that has a definite romantic allure. And the architecture is marvelous, from the barrel ceiling foyer entrance to the original bead board ceiling and French windows. You can be sure to have a romantic getaway in this dreamy suite that is complete with a remote control fireplace and vintage desk in the dormer window.
?3rd Floor Suite: Suite Home Alabama is very large and comfortable room on the front of the house with a great view from the desk in the dormer window, where you can sit in comfort as you enjoy free wi-fi. When you step into this Suite, you'll find a beautiful French antique king size bed that beckons you to relax! This suite is so named for the parts of Sweet Home Alabama filmed in Covington, which is also known as Hollywood of the South. Stay in this king size junior suite to experience one of the favorite baths in the house, original bead board ceilings, and an original fireplace updated with gas coals and a convenient remote. You may want to soak away the day in the gorgeous double slipper claw foot tub with hand spray and a gorgeous view out the original French windows! This room has a king size bed that can be converted into two twin beds. Please make a note in your reservation if you will need the bed converted into two twins.
3rd Floor Grand Suite: Cannonball Run is a fabulously large and elegant room featuring a gorgeous replica of an antique copper bateau tub; soak in the history as you look out the original French-style leaded glass windows or marvel at the original brick wall. The bath also has an enormous Carrera marble shower with two rain heads and a spa-like bench with hand spray for relaxing and staying a while. This is luxury at its finest. Warm up by your remote control fireplace as you enjoy a game of chess at the fireside chairs and game table. Or adjust the fire from the gorgeous hand-carved antique king bed as you curl up with a book. This suite has a definite civil war theme that is complete with a large desk, trimmings of generals and an antique sword valance.
3rd Floor Suite: Breakfast at Tiffany's is a comfortably cozy room on the back of the house with a great view from the quaint little desk in the dormer window. It has a beautiful French antique queen size bed that is hand painted turquoise blue with scenes of cherubs and gardens on it, and is truly a marvel to behold. To fit with the theme, in the bath you'll find a Tiffany Blue single slipper claw foot tub shower, where you can soak in Holly Golightly style with a glass of wine and good book. Many enjoy the in-room double sink vanity where they can get ready in the morning while enjoying the flat panel TV and remote control fireplace.
