About

Center Paris historic townhouse, two studios for 5 people and 6 people respectively. Both studios are equipped with kitchenette, independent bathrooms, toilets and air cond., with access to the patio, terrace, pool, fitness and sauna. Multi-generational "home away" in Paris. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, a few hundred yards from the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, one of the oldest street in Paris remains blissfully quiet and authentic. There you will find an extraordinary house, built in 1610 in beautiful stone and wooden beam ceilings, which has been home to several historical figures. From its terrace with a view on Notre-Dame, to its 14th century stone-vaulted basement with heated swimming pool and gym, the house is nothing short of unique. You will be provided with your own private apartment on the quiet side of the inner courtyard, offering you independent access to the house. Your hostess, who speaks English, Spanish, German and Chinese, would be delighted to lead you on discovery tours inside and outside Paris. Because of the mezzanine and unsupervised pool, we cannot accept children under 7 years old. Also be aware that we have 2 cats, which may be an issue for guests with allergies. The entire house is a non-smoking space.

Fantastic "Second Honeymoon" stay

4.6 on December 12, 2016

This place and the innkeeper, Anne, were both beyond our wildest expectations! Our room (the apartment) was quaint, unique, and had so much character! The bed was comfortable and all the amenities Americans have come to expect were there: K-cup style coffee or espresso, fridge stocked with water, juice, and jams (just begging for some fresh bakery bread from around the corner). And the location is phenomenal! While you're right off the back corner of Notre Dame and in the heart of the Latin Quarter, you're also on a back or side street, so you're not dealing with traffic (car or pedestrian) right outside. And, you're only a couple of blocks from metro and transit stations, making getting around the city a breeze. But the best thing? The service. We had some issues with a mailed package (the details of which are too frustrating and long to discuss), but Anne went so far above and beyond what anyone would expect of an innkeeper! She really did her best to make our stay with her and in Paris the adventure of our dreams! (Oh, and you MUST enjoy the pool and sauna in the basement, even if only for a few minutes. Like our own private spa getaway. Very nice.)

be back soon!!!

A little piece of heaven in Paris

We had the pleasure of staying with Anne in September and we loved it. It was a lovely experience to be able to stay in such a beautiful home in Paris beside Notre Dame. It was so central and coming back the pool was fantastic every evening. We can highly recommend staying here and hope to stay with Anne during our next trip to Paris.

paris stay Nov 2013

My Family and i stayed at Anne's home in the main floor apartment. Beds and kitchen were great,we had the run of the bottom section of her home including the pool and gym. We have stayed in Paris many times and never had this much room or comfort. Being in the center of town makes it convienient to get to great shops and restaurants. I would say the star of this trip was Anne our Hostess as she new where the better restaurants were near by and helped us with our day trip to Vimy ridge. In total it was a great visit.I would highly recommend this location if you are considering a trip to Paris.Andrew Mimnagh

Real Paris,Real People

Before Maison d'Anne we were privileged to exchange homes and experience this incredible house twice. We have also stayed in the apartment. I can only begin to tell you how lucky you will be to experience both this location and its owners. It will stay in your head and in your heart for a lifetime. if you want a 4-Star Hotel read no further. if you want to experience Paris, real Paris, you have found your home. At the top of the street, Place Maubert with its open air Market and Boulangerie Eric Kaiser up Rue Monge half a block - arguably one of the best bakeries in Paris. 200 meters down is Notre Dame, and across the Seine, Ile de Paris. The Latin Quarter, a few blocks up along the Seine. No hotel can offer this, at any price. At Maison d'Anne, you will be in Paris as a Parisian, not as a hotel guest. I can give no higher recommendation.

Best experience!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't express how amazing our experience was with Anne's B&B.we we greeted with warmth and kindness. No question or need was to small. Our accommodations were amazing. The location is a great base for exploring Paris. I would return in a heartbeat!

Simply outstanding in Paris

My brother's family with two teenagers and I stayed at La Maison d'Anne to celebrate his 50th birthday in August 2013 and we cannot praise Anne or her lovely and unique home enough. The 17th Century house in the 5th arrondisement surprises and delights with character and comfort, while Anne and her family are the perfect advisors on how to make the most of your visit. The wonderful pool in the basement vault is an unusual but welcome addition for central Paris, and the friendly cats add a lovely touch of homely comfort. I truly cannot fault the house or Anne for a perfect Paris stay.

Stayed for 10 days - comfortable and safe environment - Anne was a gracious, and patient hostess as we asked a lot of questions. The family made us feel like one of them. Would love to go back tomorrow. Shirley

● If you are carrying heavy and large suitcase, no doubt, you’d better take a taxi. It would cost around (depend on traffic jams) - €65 from Charles de Gaulle - €30 from Orly -€15 from gare du Nord or gare de l’Est You’ll have an add fee of around 2 euros for each luggage and 3 for the 4th person. ● Taxis are doing a line and usually you have to take the first but if you have a lot of luggage or your number exceed 4 people, then you can wait or choose a van. If you want to tip, for a real good service, then you can give between 1€ and 10% of the fare. ● If you don’t want to queue for the taxi, then you can directly order a private shuttle, which cost a little more for a better comfort: http://www.paris-navettes.fr/home.php If you want the direct train from CDG, ORLY, Gare du Nord, Gare de l’est, Orly (the one with a conection with an airport shuttle), you’ll find on the website all the indications http://www.ratp.fr/en/ratp/r_61596/access-to-airports/ Please note , that you’d better have small luggages to get thru the subway’s gates and that the ticket costs around 10€ per person….
