Small but beautifully formed

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the beginning of September for our first visit to Lyon. La Tour was small but charming, full of character, with everything you could reasonably need and perfectly located for us as tourists. It is remarkably light and bright with lovely views across the roof tops in almost every direction. Less than 5 hours from London by train. John and Catriona

Our own private tower

4.4 on October 06, 2014

My husband and I recently visited Lyon for the first time and I was hoping to book something a little different for lodging. I found La Tour-Lyon on and fell in love with the pictures. Stephane was very responsive by email and was able to book our stay. Coordinating check in was a little difficult as he lives a few blocks away, but once we were tucked in, it was an amazing experience! The views from the windows are breathtaking, especially the top floor. The tower is so cozy it was hard to leave at times to explore the lovely town. Highly recommend this place, but be aware there are many small steps.
