This was a lovely setting and great rooms. A large common room with a great fireplace if needed. Run by a wonderful couple, Camille and Sam, who are very welcoming and informative about the region. They both speak English well. The dinner was spectacular, using many items from their garden. A winding road leading to a gorgeous rural setting. It is in the middle of World War I territory as well as World War II....lots of memorials and spots to stop to read about what happened. We had just come from the bustle of Paris and it was heavenly to arrive in Chivres-Val and feel so relaxed and at home. We took a side trip to Reims to see the cathedral. Gorgeous! Camille and Sam run an A+ operation. HIghly recommended!

Very quiet country setting, with tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, good food, and plenty of room for children (of all ages) to run, hike, and play. The owners are adorable and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Had a fabulous time and would stay there again!
