The Saragossa Inn is off the beaten path in a quiet residential neighborhood just a few steps from everything you want to do and see in Saint Augustine's Historic District. The Inn has plenty of off-street parking, so once you arrive you won't need to move your car for your entire visit. The Saragossa began life as a 1924 Sears Craftsman Bungalow that has expanded over the passage of time and now houses two guest suites and four guest rooms, all with private entrances and private baths. The layout of the Saragossa will allow you all the privacy you want, yet is small enough for you to receive all the attention you need. The Saragossa is charming and romantic, quaint and comfortable, relaxing and revitalizing. Rest in a room that will pamper you and your spirit. Awake to a three-course breakfast served with the gracious hospitality you expect when choosing a Bed and Breakfast such as the Saragossa Inn.

Location with onsite parking was great. Easy walk to historic area. We arrived a little early and were cheerfully greeted and checked into our room. The room was clean, pleasant and had a small but private bathroom. The room also had a small fridge, microwave, and a do it your self coffee maker with a jar of less then fresh ground coffee and powdered milk. The breakfast or I should say brunch was swerved at 9:30. When they are fully occupied there is also a 10:30 seating. The breakfast consisted of warmed canned pears, scrambled eggs with sausage(no bread, toast, muffins, or pastries of any kind were served) there was a nice slice of cake for dessert. There was no juice but coffee was available. The service was a little late for my liking especially if you are an early riser. Overall, for a one night stay with a convenient location it was a fair value.
We feel some clarification is needed here. Our own hand selected special blend coffee is provided in every room and suite along with coffee creamer and several kinds of sweeteners. We do serve a fruit course of pears poached in orange peel and spices and topped with walnuts and warmed grade A maple syrup. The scrambled eggs referred to are actually brown buttered eggs. And although, since we serve a dessert course we don’t present bread with the main course, it is available upon request. Orange juice is always offered as well as a choice of other juices. We pride ourselves in our brunch presentation.

This was our first time staying at the Saragossa Inn B & B. We chose it because the room had a private entrance, small kitchenette and most important it is a short walk from Old Town St. Augustine.

Nice bed and breakfast in walking distance to shops and dining, along with the fort and museums. Set in an adjacent neighborhood about a block from the main area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Definitely made to fit into the Victorian style with furniture and bedding. We stayed in the larger 2 room suite the homewood which had two beds a couch, tv, refrigerator and sink. We always try a new place so this was a good stop for two days. Breakfast was nice with a filling menu. Price was just below the only four star hotel which was a little pricey but considering it was not a double room it was two rooms It actually would fall well below the average two room comparable prices. Although it is not a hotel experience. Downfall was a bathroom door that stuck and was hard to close and bathroom had a slight slant to the floor. Did not make a dent in our stay. Overall great place.

My husband and I have been staying at The Saragossa Inn since 2003, we love it! The Saragossa Inn gets better every year! It's cozy, charming and pet friendly. I love how the entrance to the rooms are not inside the Inn and parking is on premises. The Inn Keepers are friendly, helpful and have a great sense of humor. Can't wait for our next visit in October 2018 with our Shepherds Vader & Magnum. Highly recommend!

Great INN in St. Augustine. I would stay there again and again. And would also recommend to friends and family. Check-in and check-out super easy.

The Saragossa Inn is deceptively close to historic St. Augustine. Many shops, eateries and landmarks are a short to moderate walk from the Inn. The brunch is phenomenal, as is the innkeeper's attentiveness to guest needs. The room we had was appointed well with a comfy queen size bed, an in room coffee pot, and a small fridge. We contemplated staying at other inns in the historic district, but once we found the Saragossa, we decided that being right in the historic center wasn't worth the high prices. We were very pleased with our stay, and would stay again.
Thank you so much for your kind remarks about our home and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We would like to point out that our B&B is located on a quiet residential street in the heart of the Historic District. We are just a five-minute walk from St George Street which is the pedestrian mall considered the center of the Historic District.

Since the Inn wasn't full, we were upgraded to a king room. That was really nice! The breakfasts were VERY good and they catered to my dietary issue, which was very kind and considerate. The Inn is quiet, cozy, has cable tv and good A/C. The only downside was there were many fabric plants in the room that needed to be thoroughly dusted. Everything else seemed clean. However, the two gals that were the Innkeepers were very nice and accommodating. Look for a pre or post prime discount for a cost effective value.

The room was amazingly comfortable very clean the only suggestion I would make is do a spring cleaning once a month so the windows and blinds don't have dust and debris. Not negative at all this was perfect close walking to historic area nice people breakfast was very nice but not the high end gourmet that this place should have. Again it was tasty could notch it up for the price on weekends. Although I had half price only 150.00 with tax ect during week special!

Great location, comfortable suite, good food, friendly staff, within comfortable walking distance to the Historic City sights and restaurants. It is an old home, has all the expected quirks of an older restored home, was a little dated, lighting not great but adequate.
The king-sized canopy bed enveloped in golden sheers sets the tone for this romantic room. The high ceilings and hardwood floors, along with the wet bar in the entry room, creates an atmosphere for unwinding and relaxing. If there is a third person in your party, SOUTHWIND can accommodate them with a cozy daybed in the entry room. Feel the south wind at your back, guiding you toward contentment.
The elegant, hand-carved mahogany queen-sized Tester bed sets the tone for high drama and deep romance in this spacious room that includes a wet bar. HOMEWOOD is a two room suite. The second room holds a full-sized East Lake bed. This suite can accommodate up to four guests. The stunning ceiling and oversized tear drop chandelier adds to the ambience that makes you feel at home.
PALMBREEZE is light and airy with a queen-sized four poster bed that adds romance to the room with it's dark, intricate carvings. The dark wood beams on the ceiling, the hardwood floors and the artwork of Florida water birds will take you back to a warm sunny Florida that existed only in days gone by. Feel the breeze that makes the palms sway.
The queen-sized sleigh bed and the antique armoire set the tone for the country feel of this comfortable room. Nestled around the bed and antique desk, greenery abounds. The cozy bathroom allows just enough room for a relaxing shower. The room seems peaceful and still, and .......there on the evening breeze is that faint sweet smell of honeysuckle.
Remember on summer weekends when you stole off to your grandma's beach cottage? Grandma didn't have a beach cottage, well......pretend. The heavily carved king-sized four poster bed, the twin-door antique armoire, the claw-foot tub and the vintage "kitchenette" will take you to that romantic weekend at the beach. And just before you fall asleep......you'll swear you can hear the quiet sound of the surf.
GARDENMIST is stately and a bit formal. The king-sized bed and the surrounding room are washed in the sheer color of a morning mist lying across a romantic English garden. The room is spacious with an entry hall wet bar, bath with shower and lots of muted morning light. The garden mist is beginning to clear and will reveal a wonderful day.
