Beautiful accommodation and grounds. We loved sitting around the warm swimming pool and the fire pit. Very quiet neighbourhood situated near the Indian River lagoon which afforded great views of the morning and evening sun. The proprietor and staff were so nice and accommodating. Richard's recommendation concerning the eco tour via boat was absolutely spot on and was a highlight of our stay there. We highly recommend staying here - you won't be disappointed!

The Seaglass is a truly remarkable place to stay. Intimate and cosy with extremely friendly staff, it really is a home from home. Moreover, Richard is an excellent host and his 5pm 'wine and nibbles' is a lovely chance to learn about the history of the Seaglass and the area. All the rooms are immaculately presented and feature high quality linens, fixtures and fittings, making your stay a very comfortable experience. There is a steak and lobster house almost next door, so an evening of good quality food and wine is also available. Breakfast in the morning is lovely homemade specials freshly prepared and served. The maple bacon is truly amazing! This visit was our second and we will definitely be back!

What an amazing stay! Richard, Jeanne and Steve took very good care of us. We stayed in the Golden Mango room. It was such a beautiful inviting room( has a private steam shower) .We attended the Mangers social hour with Richard and Jeanne and then Jeanne made reservations for us at the Djon's restaurant within walking distance from the inn where we had dinner and watched the sunset. Afterwards, we enjoyed sitting by the firepit and had brought down our own cocktails to drink by the fire. We enjoyed the company of a loving couple from New Zealand and ended sitting talking with them for hours. It was such a nice relaxing time and we met some great new friends. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, We were taken care of by Steve and he was such a pleasure to talk to as well. We loved being the Sea Glass relaxing laid back feel. We will be visiting again soon!

What an incredible place for a nice little getaway. The room was amazing, the breakfast was very delicious, and the staff were genuinely friendly people. My wife and I live in Melbourne, so this was. Lose to home but still felt like a great vacation weekend. There are Great restaurants close by, and it's nestled in between the river with a beautiful peer where you can watch the sunset, or you can go to the beach and watch the sunrise. Also, you have to check out the Melbourne Beach Sulermarket that you will pass on your way to the beach. It's like stepping back into the 60's. Great food, drinks, dessert, and anything you would want for your appetite. Great place, staff and location!
Thank you so much for your kind review! We love when Melbourne locals come to stay with us, it truly is such a wonderful compliment that you were able to enjoy your getaway without having to go too far from home! We hope you will be able to sneak away again soon!
