The Tropical Inn is a haven of tranquility in a most unexpected central location: at the midpoint of legendary, high-energy, Duval Street. Walking distance of all Key West attractions, it artfully blends the hushed privacy of a boutique hotel with the intimacy of a classic bed and breakfast. It's the obvious choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway! Meticulously clean, professionally designed interior and garden spaces are tastefully furnished in a tropical motif evocative of the European colonial era in the East and West Indies. Rooms at this lovely Key West inn have private baths, queen and king size beds, minifridges, ceiling fans, air could ditioning, telephone, cable TV, and Wi-Fi Internet access. A microwave oven is centrally located for the convenience of guests. Most rooms feature adjacent porches or decks, and three Garden Cottage Suites have very private outdoor areas with their own spas! A tantalizing expanded continental breakfast buffet is served each morning on the garden terrace. This hospitable Key West B&B is a family owned and operated establishment. An emphasis on guest comfort, personal service, and attention to detail is evident throughout this charming Florida Keys bed and breakfast.

This was out first trip to Key West and we wanted a place with a the Key West feel. The rooms are exactly as pictured and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts too. The Inn is located close to everything - glad we dropped of our rental after we arrived.

Very convenient location. Bike rental on site is convenient too, although bikes aren’t cheap - over $30/day for two. There is a nice pool, unheated, but there is a heated hot tub. Great experience, Very nice folks stay here.

We recently completed our second stay at the Tropical Inn and loved it as much the second time as first. The Inn is on a quiet section of Duval Street within walking distance of the more up tempo sections and next to a wonderful wine bar where patrons can order cheese plates while drinking a glass of wine and watching people pass on Duval Street. The staff is simply wonderful; very friendly and accommodating; always willing to help. The rooms are small but intimate. The only disadvantage is the lack of on-site parking requiring patrons to either search for on-street parking or park in the pay lot across the street. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Tropical Inn, Key West, 2 weeks ago and can highly recommend it. We have booked the Banyan Tree Suite for 3 adults, which is just comfortable and really lovely. Our stay was fantastic, the staff is friendly and helpful and they made us feel welcome from the first moment. The Inn is well located at Duval Street and at the same time you have the peaceful and quiet garden/pool area, to calm down and enjoy. It was just amazing and we will definitely stay here again when return to Key West.

We stayed for a long weekend at the Tropical Inn in August 2016. Its a beautiful Inn that was carefully decorated and felt just like home. We stayed in the Tuckaway and it was very private, very clean, and just a few steps away from the garden, pool, and breakfast area. The pool and hot tub were bigger than expected and the pool turned out to be especially nice since Key West isn't known for their beaches. Jane, Allen, Brandi and Tammy we so very helpful for suggestions on where to eat, shop, and even called us a taxi when it was time to leave. A must stay if you want to be steps away from all the action Key West has to offer, but want a quiet, romantic evening when it's time to wind down. We will be staying here again the next time we're in Key West.

Spent six nights here in late April. If you're looking for the Key West charm this is the place to stay. We have stayed in many other places over the years and have settled on the Tropical Inn as our home away from home in Key West. This is among the best. Great location relative to all KW activities. In spite of being located on the Duval strip, the room and garden are a world removed from Duval . We stayed in the Pineapple Hideaway room with full size refrigerator, microwave, it's own porch and private hot tub. A very nice room. The continental breakfast was good with a special pastry every day (no need to go out for breakfast). On site they have well equipped KW style rental bikes available for the day or as long as you want . Low cost beer, wine, water, sodas and snacks available and complimentary coffee and tea on-site.The gardens and pool area are essence of a tropical setting. Jane, Allen, Brandi, and Tammy are very helpful in suggestions on dining and daily activities around the island. We will keep coming back here for a long time!
