Avalon B&B is a lovingly restored Victorian house built in 1885, boasting high colonial style ceilings and decorated with a tropical elegance and homey atmosphere. Over the bed canopy nets provide that romantic touch. Enjoy our continental buffet breakfast overlooking Duval Street each morning, including an array of freshly sliced fruits, assortment of breads and pastries, yogurts, cereals and a daily changing specialty such deli selection, as mini quiche, croissants or omelets.

Came to Key West for a destination wedding. I went by online reviews. At the bridal shower I started asking around and the B&B was recommended by more than 1 person with outstanding reviews. Avalon B&B was adorable! The staff was amazing. The continental breakfast was way more then any continental breakfast I've ever had before--delish! I stayed in the small queen room off the back near the pool; separate outside entrance. The room was clean and perfect for my short stay. It is on the quiet side of Duval and totally walkable. I would highly recommend staying here and will come back! THANK YOU!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Avalon. The location at the far end of Duval Street was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the staff was knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and happy to help with any request. Down time on the porch and by the pool make for a relaxing stay in a clean and inviting setting. Our only disappointment was the continental breakfast, as we would have preferred an interesting cooked brunch entree.

Avalon is just right for us--at the quiet end of Duval Street; nice, quiet room (King); helpful and attentive staff; good, relaxing breakfasts on the porch. If two miles sounds like a strenuous walk, consider renting a bicycle across the street.

I will start by saying that this was our first time stating at a B&B. We have decided that from now that we will only stay in a B&B. Avalon was/is amazing! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Offer plenty of suggestions for dining and other experiences. Rooms were plenty large enough for the two of us and very clean, loved the canopy bed. Great selection of quick breakfast items as well as the daily variety of prepared breakfast from fresh pastries to the omelets and quiches. The refreshments and cookies in the afternoon were a very pleasant surprise and we always made it back in time enjoy. Avalon has set the standard of B&B's for us.

From the moment we walked through the front door and smelled the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, we felt welcomed and comfortable at the Avalon. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was perfect and the bed was extremely comfortable. The extra added amenities including the fresh fruit, coffee and cold beverages available all day and the filtered water and ice machine on the deck make you feel very at home. The breakfast each morning was great, the food was fresh and hot and the presentation was excellent. The convenience of the location was another surprise, close to everything yet not in the middle of the craziness. We loved our week at the Avalon and can't wait to come back.

Located on busy, slightly noisy Duval Street, you need only step beyond the white picket fence and, Voila! life is calmer. The B&B is quaint and period appropriate, yet the A/C in the rooms (we had two rooms) is more than adequate as was the shower. Floors polished and so clean you can see your reflection, and a more than comfortable bed were room highlights. The breakfast provided each day on the porch was a super Continental breakfast, including fresh fruit, great coffee that wasn't watered down, cereals, a large assortment of breads and pastries and more. The rooms are quiet as is the setting. While it's fun to be in the Duval Street Mardi Gras spirit, it's also nice to grab your favorite book and just sit quietly and read. Avalon provides peace and quiet in the most convenient area. They are exceedingly helpful and courteous.

The perfect, quiet location in a busy, little town. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was good for us, lots of fruit, and pastries for the sweet tooth ! The room was very roomy, which was great having 4 people in one room.

Had a great stay and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Amazing location and cookies every afternoon. The room was very clean and had excellent air conditioning (which is not always true in Florida hotels). The small details were what made everything even nicer. Makeup remover, tooth brushes, makeup towel. All around great weekend
