It is an infrequent opportunity that one gets to stay in a bed and breakfast where everything is perfect and you meet hosts go above and beyond to meet the expectations of their guests. David and Pam do just that. We just had the most wonderful 2 day stay at the beautiful Hibiscus House, much too short, and cannot wait for a return visit. Pam and David are the most welcoming hosts, have a wealth of knowledge of the area, make their guests feel like old friends and go out of their way to make sure that ones stay is the best it can be. Our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities one could expect from the beautiful decor, comfortable bed, plenty of storage for your gear, a spacious bathroom with a shower that I dream of replicating, travel guides of the area, bottled water and treats, a bookcase full of books to a towel dedicated for make up removal, only one other b&b that we have stayed at over the past 14 years has ever had that..how nice. The breakfasts were very tasty and plentiful. When I requested milk with my coffee, Pam went out of her way to make a sign so that it was easily identifiable from the cream at the coffee/tea station that is set up...may not sound like a big but just the fact that she wanted to be sure all her guests had what they needed, made it special. When we mentioned that we were going to the beach, before I could even say that we were going to pick up chairs/blanket, she asked if we needed chairs, had a tote in hand with a blanket and off the the beach we were. Pam and David definitely raise the bar fvery high or those who enjoy the B&B experience.
