Stumbled onto this B&B on the internet looking for a layover to catch the ferry to Cumberland Island. Thrilled that we did. Outstanding beautiful old home, wonderfully restored. Perfect location on the edge of downtown with an easy walk to any restaurant or shop. Short bike ride to the beach or Fort Clinch State Park. And, just a few blocks from the Ferry. Enjoyed the hospitality and nicely shady front porch amongst stately old Live Oaks and Spanish moss.

This trip was our second to this beautiful home located so conveniently and within walking distance to everything. The grounds of this home are so beautiful and serene. There’s a great pool area and a bubbling hot tub. We parked our car and forgot about it. Ricky and Tracey, the owners, are so warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The furnishings in this home are from the period in which the home was built And there is a curiosity everywhere you look. The rooms are beautiful, with luxurious linens and cookies that Tracey bakes. This property is truly a gem and we will continue to go back. Ricky and Tracey really know hospitality.

This B&B is a gorgeous, three story in the historical district of Fernandina Beach. Wrap around porch, pool and hot tub, and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Marina. The rooms are finely appointed and very comfortable. Tracey and Ricky hold a happy hour nightly with cheese and wine in the pub area of the home. Your hosts are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfasts are delicious and made to order from a menu of several selections.

We had to be out of our house a couple nights because of remodeling and decided to stay at the Hoyt House. Great decision. Our room was lovely, wine & cheese on the front porch very relaxing and the delicious breakfast (made to order) the best start to the day. Would recommend to those visiting as well as locals. Ricky & Tracy were perfect hosts!!

We chose to reside at the Hoyt House for our daughter's weekend at the Ribault Club. Tracey and Rickey were the perfect hosts. The food, the rooms, etc were beyond expectations. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Fernandina.

Our stay was better than we could have expected, from the initial greeting and sign in, to our afternoon wine and cheese get together in the shared sitting areas, to our comfortable room, and then waking up to a pleasant and exceptional breakfast. We enjoyed the other guests, and our Host and Hostess helped us with decisions on what to do, and where to eat. Shops, restaraunts, walks through the Historic area, all within walking distance to the Historic Hoyt House. We enjoyed some quiet time by the pool. By far, the Hoyt House was one of the most beautifully decorated, furnished, and best Hosted B&Bs we have ever stayed at. We will return.
