We spent one night on our way to Yellowstone/Jackson Hole. The inn was clean, comfortable and inviting. Our hostess was friendly and served a wonderful breakfast. The property is beautiful. We would certainly go back if we are ever in that area again.
This little bed and breakfast is a quaint place to stay right next to bear lake on the west side. The service was excellent, always a good breakfast in the morning, enough towels, blankets, etc. This is an ideal place to spend a quiet get away or a good place to stay while doing activities around the lake. There are lots of options of things to do so if you have the time it is worth spending a few days here.
We highly recommended Kip and Cindy's beautiful bed and breakfast! The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was exceptional down to the beautiful plate of homemade cookies! And Kip and Cindy were delightful!
Driving from Salt Lake City to Jackson hole Wyoming stayed one night here and was pleasantly surprised at beauty of property across street from Bear Lake...beautiful. Cool breeze from open windows in Bee Hive room were great. Gourmet breakfast was outstanding and our hostess offered plenty of refills. I should have closed windows before sleeping, heard road noise thru night but could have been quieter with windows closed. No a/c but it was 45 degrees at night so pleasantly cool. Fresh baked cookies and chocolates in the room were a nice surprise and bath and body products were provided in bathroom. Live it!
Clean. Attractive decor. Beautiful yard. View to Bear Lake from our room. Watched the deer eat the apples on the trees in the yard. Fantastic breakfasts each morning. Friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable hostess.
This is a favorite place for us to slip away to. Cindy and Kip welcome us each time with those wonderful chocolates, fresh baked cookies reflect their amazingly thoughtful details. Oh breakfast skillfully created to enjoy. Our room was so romantic as this visit there were thunderstorms over the lake the view from our room was a front row delight and not to forget the fantastic fireplace gracing the room, a great weekend! The front porch is so welcoming with a warm cup of coffee easily accessible in the dining room. I must mention the glass enclosed breakfast area overlooking the lake and their amazing water features. It is the perfect place to step away to. Thank you, a lovely place on an amazing lake with color changes that rival the rainbow!
The innkeepers, Kip & Cindy, are personable and very knowledgeable about the area. Each breakfast of our 3-day stay was excellent- fresh fruit, homemade jams, tasty biscuits, great entrees. Bear Lake is beautiful and the dinning room is definitely "a room with a view." Don't pass up an opportunity to stay at The Bluebird Inn!
The room we had was lovely. The B&B is well maintained and in a beautiful setting. We did not have breakfast due to our schedule. I rated it outstanding, because I had to rate it, but I feel confident that it would have been outstanding!
The Bluebird inn is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed inn. I stayed in the beehive room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hostess was extremely accommodating, and there were lots of "extras", snacks, sodas, and the like, that I didn't take advantage of but were impressive nonetheless. The hostess also gave me a $20 gift card to the local restaurant (which was in a country club and very good as well) for no apparent reason except for generosity, for we were celebrating no particular occasion in our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who would be staying in the area.
We had a great stay at the Bluebird Inn. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was wonderful. We were a little concerned that there was no air conditioning with an August stay, but open windows, a ceiling fan and the lake breezes made it really comfortable. And the food for breakfast was out of this world delicious!
This quaint B&B was a delightful experience. Cindy, the hostess, was so attentive. We were met by name when we checked in and every effort was made to meet our needs. The breakfast was superior! We will definitely stay there again when we get a chance to be in the area.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Cindy and Kip were so hospitable and a lot of fun to talk to. We wished we had more time there to explore the property (we were only able to stay for one night). And the breakfast was amazing!
My wife and I loved our stay here in the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Great conversation with fellow guests over the breakfast table and our hosts could not have been more pleasant. Charming room. Sorry we had only the one night and would recommend unreservedly. Michael Oakland. West Sussex. England
Not only is the Bluebird Inn a beautiful place to stay, it is also owned and managed by some people who really care about your stay. We stayed in the Bear Room. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The best thing about the Bluebird is breakfast. It is beautifully prepared and delicious. We were served eggs benedict Bluebird style with fresh fruit and hashbrowns. Thanks, Kip and Cindy, for a really great stay. We will encourage our Mississippi friends to visit.
...we have a family cabin at Fish Haven and when our kids and grandkids join in for a reunion or holiday weekend...it is very crowded...so my husband and I stay at the Bluebird Inn...The Mottas are excellent hosts, friendly, and accommodating. The property is well maintained and the rooms are spotless...Breakfast can't be beat...attention to detail in every way is incorporated in the quality of and selection of food choices...and its artful presentation...and when you arrive, there is a chocolate sampler and homemade cookies in your room...don't pass up this B&B...
A quaint Inn with welcoming, relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms. The grounds are beautiful and inviting. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are cozy and private. The hospitality is fabulous. The cookies and chocolates, robe and slippers, fresh coffee and breakfast -- you'll feel special when you stay here!
We bike ride in Bear Lake and last year as we rode by we said this looked like a great place to stay... So this year we booked a night and we were very pleased with everything. Friendly people, fresh cookies and chocolates for us when we arrived, accommodated breakfast so we could get up earlier than the normal breakfast schedule so we could get riding our bikes..tremendous place to stay..right by the Lake ..we smiled as we rode by it again on our bikes. We will come back next year
The 1 night stay at Kip and Cindy's Blue Bird Inn was a wonderful way for us to wrap up our Grand Teton/Yellowstone trip on our way back to Salt Lake City to fly back home. Cindy made us feel very welcome right from the moment that we checked in. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. No TV, but that was just fine with us. We had 3 couples traveling together and stayed in the Anniversary Room, The Beehive Room and the Bear Room. All of us felt that sleeping here that night was the best night's rest we had all week. Rooms were extremely clean and felt like home. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! Cindy made a marvelous breakfast pizza with fresh fruit and homemade biscuits and jam. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We definitely want to come back.
The Bluebird Inn has beautiful grounds and is set on a hill across from Bear Lake. The views are fantastic, and we felt so relaxed staying there. Breakfast was amazing, and the owners are very friendly and attentive. We happen to be there during apple season so were able to enjoy the delicious fresh-picked fruit from the trees in the yard. Thank you!
