The photo of the garden was one of the main reason I booked this place. The idea of enjoying a relaxing hour before setting out in crowded Cambridge, was appealing. It was a disapointment when we were told we could not go init, we could only look at the garden on a rare sunny and hot day, but not actually be in it. Our host were nice enough, even drying some wool shirts on the outside line. I would have enjoyed putiing them there myself.
Dear Suzanne and Bob, Thank you for your review. The photos of the river across the garden from the dining room window are there to show you how close is the river and what a lovely view it is from the breakfast table. I am sorry if you were misled by them. The problem with garden access is that it is only possible through the kitchen, which, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to allow. However, the river bank is less than a minute walk away via the cut-through from Fen Road and we would have gladly lent you folding chairs to take out there. Best wishes David & Renee

Our hosts could not have made us more welcome in this spotlessly clean B&B. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Close enough to walk to Cambridge city centre. Lovely view of the river Cam watching the rowers makes for a leisurely and relaxing breakfast experience. Susan and Keith April 2013
