We stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the service is outstanding, the breakfasts are fantastic, and it's all located in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. There is even a 4.5 km hiking trail on the property that takes you through a "tree tunnel" and up to a high meadow area. The owners are wonderful people who made our stay a really memorable occasion.
We had a wonderfull night in the room Nr.1 with a balkony and a faboulus view over the Mountains. It was very quiet, so that our sleep was deep and recreative. The Room was comfortable inclusive fresh water from a own well. The owner are very frendly, helpfull and caring. Also the Dogs and the Chicken are funny and lovely. The Breakfast was the best and delichious we had on our Irland Tour. We hope to stay there again sometime!
My friend and I stayed just one night. It was a lovely space in walking distance to anything we needed. Unfortunately, we left too early in the morning to enjoy the breakfast. The site will not allow me to leave that space open.
Very friendly owners that are very helpful in giving info on how to get around via public transportation as well as giving info on places to go and things to see . Good location which is easily accessible to Airport and Dublin City Center (roughly 10-15 minutes by city bus). Very clean rooms and great Irish breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Georgian House, we arrived in from the airport at around 1.00am, was greeted by a friendly man who could not have been more helpful to us, bedroom was lovely and cosy, breakfast next morning was very tasty. We were right in the centre of city you could almost walk anywhere or get lucas etc again next morning staff extremely welcoming and friendly, we are looking forward to our next visit to this very homely place.
