This charming Washington DC B&B is located in the heart of the city, in the beautiful, safe and historic Woodley Park neighborhood. The B&B is in an ideal location, being only a block away from the Metro Woodley Park station. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. All of the staff was warm and friendly. I do no know if this is true of all the rooms, but our room had only one or two open/accessible outlets, and only two prong. This was not a huge issue for us, but one of those things you don't notice until you do. I only mention the two prong in case someone out there requires all three. Definitely not a deal breaker for us at all, it's a lovely house. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff and owners were very accomodating. All my questions were answered and I was given lots of suggestions for trips and sights to visit and how to get around the city.

I would have given five stars in all categories, but my computer would not allow me to give anything higher than four stars. I was on business travel and did not want to stay at any of the big hotels because they just do not feel like DC to me. The Woodley Park Guest House is in a gorgeous neighborhood where people live, it is literally steps from the Red Line, and it is across the street from the wonderful tulip garden at the Marriott. There are decent restaurants within easy walking distance (especially the District Kitchen on Connecticut Avenue). The only room that was available was a single on the third floor, with a shared bath. The room was small but charming, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. It was a bargain, too. Breakfast was great! Not the fancy kind you usually get at B&Bs but 1,000 times better than the "continental breakfasts" you get at motels. And fun to chat with the other guests and Courtney.

Great hospitality, cosy room, very convenient location. Just the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy. - Nevertheless: Warmly recommended!

This is a great place to stay! The staff could not be more friendly and helpful, and Courtney and Joe are great hosts. I have now stayed at this B & B twice, and look forward to doing so again. It is also so close to the Metro, that getting around from there is easy. Gail

Woodley Park Guest House was the perfect place for us to stay when we visited Washington in October. Warm welcome, wonderfully comfortable room, delicious breakfast, great company and beautiful décor. The subway was close, as were a selection of restaurants - do go to the newly renovated Lebanese restaurant nearby....great food! Courtney and Joe should write the manual on how to run a great B & B!
