Kingsfield-The Lt Wm King House

827 North St , Suffield, CT 06078 USA (Show map)

Kingsfield is a beautifully preserved example of early New England colonial architecture located in the Connecticut river valley between Hartford CT and Springfield MA. Built in 1722(ten years before George Washington was born!)by a prominent local family, the house is spacious, comfortable and furnished entirely in period. Come join us for a tranquil night in a large four poster bed with down comforter and in-room fireplace, tea and sherry in the afternoon.

Tom is a thoughtful host. Flexible check in and check out. Breakfast fresh with variety. Very thoughtful choices. We cook in using microwave, and occasionally eat out. I'm exhausted after teaching. The two additions I'd love would be a toaster oven instead of a two slice toaster, flavored cream for coffee and maybe an advanced purchase of wine since I have no time. We've stayed here probably 6x total? Delightful and quiet!
