We have stayed in several B&Bs all over the United States and this is the cleanest one of all. The view is fantastic. Can't imagine the beauty in the Fall of the year. The Inn is very quiet. Breakfast was very nice. Mike made us feel like we were at home.
My son Daniel & I just had three remarkable days and nights at the Garden Inn B & B. We made new friends with the most wonderful hosts/owners, we discovered areas we never knew existed and we explored spectacular nature that was right on our doorstep... including the experience of the Total Solar Eclipse that was literally out of this world! Access to the Bee Rock Outlook was a thrill and the views always awe inspiring no matter what time of day. Sunrise was incredible! The Garden Inn has features that are so unexpected and so unique. We felt so at home and welcomed! Even though it was busy due to the eclipse, Mike & Mirtha took care of all of their guests in the most cordial and thoughtful way and made sure everyone was comfortable. They are meticulous about housekeeping and every little detail is covered. I truly hope I can get back there someday. Thank you so much for your superb hospitality! Sandy de L :-)
Butterfly Hollow is a wonderful place with a wonderful host. It is truly a world away and a perfect place if you are really looking to get away from it all. The place is wonderful and secluded and just a complete joy to visit.
Who knew such a jewel was so close to home??!!! We have stressful jobs and decided to get away for just a night. We are so thankful we found this great little place. It is an outstanding place to go and we loved every aspect of it, especially Mike's little tidbits of information. I would have given it five stars on all but it wouldn't let me. It is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially small groups and/or for weddings.
Absolutely a terrific place to get away to, the staff and owners took time to talk with us and make us feel welcome and let us know they were there for us no matter what we needed. The grounds were stunningly beautiful as was the view from the cliff tops that surround the house making for breathtaking pictures. The breakfast was beyond great and staff was very willing to make exceptions to the planned menu if asked which was also nice. We would highly recommend that anyone looking to get away try The Garden Inn.
I brought my mother for a quiet relaxing weekend. The views were breathtaking and the inn itself was very bright, clean, warm and welcoming. I chose this B&B because it was very close to Crossville with easy access to the intrastate so we could get to the Cumberland County Playhouse without much hassle. There is a easy walk out to the bluff/overlook from the B&B as well. Excellent weekend.
This was our second stay and it was a lovely and relaxing experience. Mike is always helpful with recommendations on places to eat. The breakfasts at the Inn are truly amazing! You can't beat the setting and the service.
This was our first foray into the whole B&B experience and it won't be our last! Everything about The Garden Inn was fantastic! Mike was so helpful with his knowledge of the area and where to go and explore and places to eat. The Garden Inn, itself, was so nice and clean. Such a peaceful and stunning location too. Would be the perfect fall getaway with all of the colors changing.
We stayed at Garden Inn on a Sunday night and had a very pleasant stay. The first thing that struck me (I am a man) was how impeccably clean everything was. Our room was very nice and peaceful and offered a great quiet place to get some rest, followed by a delicious breakfast in a very relaxed atmosphere. The Garden Inn is surrounded by nature, for those of you who can appreciate that sort of thing. There are a few walking trails that end in beautiful views off of rock bluffs and water flowing in a small stream right beneath the house and into a fish pond below the outside deck area which is left to be cared for by nature itself. Mike and Mirtha are very gracious hosts. I would highly recommend the Garden Inn for a relaxing and peaceful place to stay.
The innkeepers are terrific, extremely accommodating and gracious. The breakfasts are 5 star be it the gourmet or country style with quality ingredients and excellent presentation as well as the quantity and variety. The rooms are immaculate, tastefully decorated, not cutesy, rather extremely tasteful. Loved the special chocolate mint sticks in the room. Magnificent scenery and grounds. Incredible! Other B and Bs pale in comparison. A true gem, don't miss it! Diana W Perrussel
Scenic view is main selling feature of this inn. Some improvements could be made with presentation to guests such as potted flowers scented candles in main areas. Owner Mike tries to accommodate guests but inn is definitely lacking feminine touch.
I treated my wife (us) to a B&B for our anniversary and I am glad we went to Garden Inn. Very clean and comfortable. Mike was a great host to us and we had an enjoyable time talking with him - he is very personable and ready to help us make reservations, find good places to eat, visit local attractions, or just leave us be. Highly recommend.
If you are looking for serenity, this is the place in a hidden away Tennessee hollow. A hollow is as breathtaking as the top of a mountain or an ocean view.. We experienced nature at its best for a November two day visit to Butterfly Hollow. Time was endless. The sounds of wind way above was awesome. The temperature was just right to stargaze when night fell upon us. The rainfall on the metal roof was comforting. The birds and deer were among us. We experienced the peacefulness of nature at it's best for a late fall visit. We didn't even mind those Asian beetles.. haha Dave is a natural born host and cooks up a simply elegant breakfast every morning. We suggest you go there and 'breathe in' the tranquility of Butterfly Hollow. Many thanks to Dave and Beth for making our stay simply peaceful and comfortable. A place to fall in love with nature and good people. Its peacefulness bring only smiles & joy from Sandy & Tom's visit there.. We will go back again.
This B&B looks out over a bluff. Great for leaf peeping. The rooms are immaculately clean. The food very tasty. This innkeeper allowed for us to change her schedule a little providing us breakfast after check-out. A lovely stay.
This was my first encounter with a stay in the mountains of Tennessee. And it was wonderful. Lovely lovely location. Beds are super comfortable and the breakfasts superb. The hospitality was amazing. Last but not least the view was breath taking. I highly recommend.
Surroundings are very quiet. View from the rooms overlooking the gorge below is outstanding. Inside was very warm and cozy. Flower theme throughout is very restful. Rooms met expectations. Could be rated higher if television was more updated from the 14" box and direct TV channel listing was more extensive. Hosts are very nice people.
Our room was very recently updated. Very well taken care of. Very clean. The Breakfasts were FANTASTIC! Spoiler alert: First class egg soufflé, French Toast, Quiche, etc. Very courteous and prompt service. Not to mentioned the beautiful views, trails, and easy freeway access from I-40. Very well done.
This was our first time to stay at a B&B. We had a lovely experience. Very nice room, comfortable bed. Magnificent views! Delicious breakfast! Mirtha, the hostess was so nice and accommodating. We will be coming back!
You need a place to get away and have some peace? Quiet? Great food? This is the place. Breakfast and the coffee is always the best. It is not far from Nashville but you feel as if you really got away. Go check it out.
