My sister and I treated ourselves to a Mother's Day weekend here. Such a beautiful place to stay! Jim and Mary were wonderful! Highly recommend this BnB. Close to everything, they have a Pool table, games, the decor was so beautiful and such a homely feel. Wonderful breakfast! Must try Mary's Apple crisp! Yum! Gail B. and Joan N.

Such a quaint place! My husband and I stayed here for an overnight getaway recently, and had a great time. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the B&B itself, but the location, rooms, common areas and amenities were great. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully in the summer months!
Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn. Mary and I are delighted you had such a good time and we hope to see you again.

The only recommendation that we have is, not to change a thing!
Thank you for taking the time to comment and to affirm the work we put in to keep the Captain Stannard Houyse as it is.

We live in CT but stay here when we need a break close to home. The Brewsters are wonderful and gracious, the location is close to great reetaurants, etc, the rooms are comfortable and immaculate. LOVE this inn!!

I reccommend this B & B to anyone travleing in New England. It is so quaint and all the folks are so friendly here - I loved it. I am from Texas and I felt at home!
