The Stonecroft Country Inn was warm and inviting with 17th century charm. The room in which we stayed provided a relaxing get away from out hectic life back home. Our breakfast in the morning made us feel at home with hot coffee and a country touch. The owners awesome. They greeted us with a smile and provide us with full accommodations even after a late check-in. I would recommend Stonecroft Country Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay!

Wow what can I say Scott's cooking is amazing. You must try his stuffed French Toast out of this world. Also Jodie's pear, Apple, granola dish was awesome minus the nuts for me. I enjoyed my second room much more than my first which was the briar rose. Some say less is more and I agree. I had such a relaxing weekend there. Best part was my Jacuzzi tub with salts a must and breakfast
We are so glad that your stay was enjoyable. We strive to make everyone feel like family and provide a relaxing, quiet environment. Scott is always trying to please the guests with his hearty breakfasts. We hope to see you again!

Enjoyed our stay in the Orchard room in the 1807 house. Scott and Jodie have only owned the B&B for a couple of months now and already are doing a fine job. The 1807 house is very interesting with nice size living and reading rooms on the main floor. The steps to the second floor (Orchard room) are steep and narrow, typical for the period, and the floor (original) slopes where you may feel like a bowling ball going down the lane so watch your balance. This too is part of the ambiance. The bathroom though has been updated. The dining room is quite the masterpiece that will actually seat 85 people, it's huge and beautiful with a rock foundation and fireplace and many windows that look out onto the beautiful landscaping. You're in the country so it's nice and quiet yet close to everything. We went to Newport, R. I. via the back roads that Scott told us about and it was a nice drive enjoying the fall colors vs. the interstate hwy. Scott (the master chef) and Jodie couldn't do enough for us and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house from them. Thanks Scott & Jodie for such a nice stay. Larry & Fawn

We stayed at the Stonecroft Country Inn when we visited the Mystic area for several days. Both the inn and the grounds were very nice. It had a great country feel. Jim and Marcie were excellent hosts. They showed a personal interest in us and were helpful in describing the area and providing advice of things to see. They also served delicious breakfasts. The room was large for an 1800's house and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed this inn.

Our stay at the Stonecroft was a memorable one. It was the perfect setting for a nice, quiet getaway, in a the quiet town of Mystic. The room was great and those sheets were unlike anything I've ever slept on! Service was very good. I could've used a bigger portion or even more options each morning for breakfast though.
