Having been top ranked Innkeeper owners in Provincetown, MA we carefully researched nearby B&Bs for our nephew and his new bride's wedding night ... They were overjoyed with their stay ... and their charming room with fireplace -- Highly recommend!

Wonderful historic Bed and Breakfast!

4.4 on April 29, 2018

My husband and I went for a weekend to decompress and relax. Jody and Scott were wonderful hosts, kind, gracious and overall so friendly. The Inn was exceptionally clean, breakfast was delicious. Sherry, the housekeeping staff was also very nice and attentive. This was my first experience at a B&B and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this to couples or if you just need a place to get away from city madness. We are telling everyone about them! Amantina B

Innkeeper Response

Wonderful Getaway

5 on April 22, 2018

The Innkeepers Jodie and Scott were very welcoming. It was my birthday and Scott made a special big birthday cookie and presented it to me with a candle after the delicious breakfast. We stayed in the main house which is beautifully maintained as an antique early 1800s house with lovely central chimney and fireplaces. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful even in April: wonderful stones walls and terraces.

Innkeeper Response
We were happy to help you celebrate your birthday and glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We do hope you return, now that the gardens are blooming!

The Stonecroft Country Inn was warm and inviting with 17th century charm. The room in which we stayed provided a relaxing get away from out hectic life back home. Our breakfast in the morning made us feel at home with hot coffee and a country touch. The owners awesome. They greeted us with a smile and provide us with full accommodations even after a late check-in. I would recommend Stonecroft Country Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay!

Diamond in the rough

Wow what can I say Scott's cooking is amazing. You must try his stuffed French Toast out of this world. Also Jodie's pear, Apple, granola dish was awesome minus the nuts for me. I enjoyed my second room much more than my first which was the briar rose. Some say less is more and I agree. I had such a relaxing weekend there. Best part was my Jacuzzi tub with salts a must and breakfast

Innkeeper Response
We are so glad that your stay was enjoyable. We strive to make everyone feel like family and provide a relaxing, quiet environment. Scott is always trying to please the guests with his hearty breakfasts. We hope to see you again!

Engaging innkeepers

Enjoyed our stay in the Orchard room in the 1807 house. Scott and Jodie have only owned the B&B for a couple of months now and already are doing a fine job. The 1807 house is very interesting with nice size living and reading rooms on the main floor. The steps to the second floor (Orchard room) are steep and narrow, typical for the period, and the floor (original) slopes where you may feel like a bowling ball going down the lane so watch your balance. This too is part of the ambiance. The bathroom though has been updated. The dining room is quite the masterpiece that will actually seat 85 people, it's huge and beautiful with a rock foundation and fireplace and many windows that look out onto the beautiful landscaping. You're in the country so it's nice and quiet yet close to everything. We went to Newport, R. I. via the back roads that Scott told us about and it was a nice drive enjoying the fall colors vs. the interstate hwy. Scott (the master chef) and Jodie couldn't do enough for us and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house from them. Thanks Scott & Jodie for such a nice stay. Larry & Fawn
