The Farmhouse has been in the family since it was built around 1784. The house was updated in the 1990’s but it and the surrounding farm will always be a work in progress. The farm has a menagerie of animals that require daily care and attention, including Fallow Deer, cows, ducks, chickens and a donkey. When the weather is warm enough the wrap around porch is a great place for reading and relaxing. The common living room has a working fireplace and a TV, where guests can meet before they head out for the day or when they return in the evening. The B&B at Bartlett Farm is located in North Guilford, just a few miles north of the Guilford Green and I-95. A place where you can enjoy a walk on a winding country road, take a hike on one of the many trails in the area or just sit on the porch and watch the day go by.

Great place to stay in a quaint little town.

5 on August 30, 2018

I stayed at this B&B last weekend while my teenage daughter stayed with a friend. Sam and Diana were excellent hosts. The place was clean and I felt very comfortable When I wasn't visiting town or out and about, I had coffee on the wrap-around porch and read. The weather was perfect for this. If I was there later in the year, the living room with a fireplace looked quite comfortable to relax in as well. Finally, the breakfasts served were so delicious. I highly recommend this property for your stay in or near Guilford.

Home cooking

4.0 on August 01, 2018

The farm has been in the family for generations. It feels like a home, with a delicious home cooked breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom adequate, window air conditioner not the quietest. I slept well and would stay there again.

Terrific Stay

In the middle of a long and rainy trip we decided to go off our itinerary and find someplace near our final destination. I found the Bartlett Farm B & B and we went to the most lovely part of Connecticut and met the Bartlett's who make this place sing!. The house is just like the pictures and the farm is lovely. Spring was greening and blooming all around us and even with the rain it was gorgeous. The room was lovely, the mattress just right, The linens fresh and crisp. Breakfast was delicious. Sam & Diana are great hosts.

Lost Count

5 on July 29, 2017

As my title says, we have lost count on how many visits we've made to the B&B at Bartlett Farm. Starting way back around 2002 I decided to research B&B's in CT because there are few quality hotels on the shoreline. Besides, after our 1st visit we decided that we had found our home away from home. My husband and I have had the pleasure of watching the Bartlett children grow-up and this year (2017) both are off to college. Truly an endearing family who make everyone feel like family. Charming rooms that are comfortable and clean. Dining area is a nice place to meet and greet other guests. Breakfast is wonderful. The wrap around porch is an inviting place to relax. (My preference is to rise early and sit on the porch swing with my morning coffee.) We will be moving to FL soon and are visits will become infrequent but we will have fond memories of our times at Bartlett Farm.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast, and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the family goes out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect. We highly recommend the place.

Our first choice

5 on April 04, 2011

My family and I have stayed here several times. I am originally from CT and have family in Guilford. Once I found this place, there is no other place I would consider staying. Sam, Diane and their children have always made our visits pleasant. Diane is a wonderful cook and always uses farm fresh ingredients. The wrap around porch is just wonderful for an evening cup of tea and a good book. Getting ready to book another stay soon.

Took me back to my youth

I stayed here with my 2 children. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the farm. It was a huge change for them from the sun and surf of FL. The room was beautiful and comfy...yummy country breakfasts. The Bartletts are of a wonderful, welcoming family.

Serenity at the Bartlett Farm

5 on July 27, 2008

Our stay was so peaceful and serene. To wake up to the friendly rooster saying goodmorning to the wind blowing gently through the trees singing you to sleep. Bartlett family went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. Breakfasts were fabulous and we got to bring home 4 qts of farm made Maple Syrup back to Texas with us. Rooms brought you back in time and so comfortable. We will definately be back and tell all our friends about it too!! Thank you Diane and Sam.
