The B&B is a hidden gem in a small town, making a nice getaway. It's beautiful, welcoming, and magically secluded despite its location. The owner was quickly and conveniently in touch and very helpful in the planning process. She even reached out the day-of to let us know that the cottage would be unavailable because of the previous guests and to be careful for damage in the floor left by a previous guest. While I'm disappointed we didn't get to see the cottage, it was just two of us and the indoor accommodations were sufficient. It is gorgeous. The towels/robes/bedding are all very comfortable. The hot tub was just what we needed after a grueling week's work--the bed was perfectly comforting, and the snacks and coffee left for the morning were just fine as we packed up and headed home. I'm looking forward to scheduling another visit--and hoping to see the bonus cottage next time!
Me and my girlfriend stayed here earlier this year. Probably the coolest place we have ever stayed. It is so low key from the outside. You would never find it without the directions. Once we got inside though it was amazing. From the Hot tub to just the coolest private courtyard in the middle of town. Once there we never used a car and just walked to the other spots in town. Everything is within a half mile in town. Very nice place. Will go again soon.
My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a night at The Courtyard not too long ago. When you arrive at the front door, the building seems unassuming, but once you cross the threshold, you are transported to a world apart. You feel totally separate from everything going on outside, yet you are just a short walk away from world class dining and antique shops. Tucked in the back is a courtyard reminiscent of New Orleans, where you could contentedly waste your morning away sipping coffee and listening to the fountain and birds. The Como Courtyard should be on your must see list if you're traveling to the North MS Hill Country!
I have so many memories at this place. I've performed with my band at a friends wedding. I've stayed here on an anniversary with my girlfriend. I've recorded music here. Work Christmas parties..the list goes on and on. The outside world ceases to exist as soon as you walk in the front door. All amenities are above and beyond. Excellent food and excellent local music (Como Steakhouse and Windy City Grill) are a 1 minute walk away. I kinda don't want too many to know about it because all of us locals want to keep it for ourselves! Truly a great romantic getaway or an amazing, peaceful, beautiful space for any gathering. The price is about as good as it gets. Once you get there you will understand. Try to stay here if you come to North Mississippi.
My family and I have never been to Como. We were invited to visit so our daughter, Hannah, could sing with WoodStomp. I never imagined the stunning beauty of this place until I arrived. It was BREATH-TAKING!!! I will be back! Loved it!
A great escape nestled in a lovely Mississippi town. No photo will ever do it justice. You have to experience it. We're hooked and consider this our favorite place to go every year. Also, make sure you stroll down Main Street and stop by the steakhouse.
