Wild Horse Inn

1536 County Road 83 PO Box 609, Fraser, CO 80442 USA (Show map)

Just 10 minutes from Winter Park! Handcrafted from 400-year-old Englemann pine logs, moss covered rock and giant picture windows, The Wild Horse Inn is reminiscent of the grand mountain lodges built at the turn of the 20th century, back when Colorado was rougher around the edges and refinement had a distinctively rustic flair. The Wild Horse Inn offers spacious and comfortable guest areas, on-site massage services, hot tub and beautiful gardens. Three cozy cabins feature fireplaces, king beds, covered porches and kitchenettes, while seven unique and intimate guestrooms in the main lodge offer private whirlpool bath and balcony. Gourmet breakfasts and a Bottomless Cookie Jar offering keep guests coming back. Greeting wine and chilled soda's courtesy of our hosts. Borrow a book from our guest library, pour over maps to find your next trail, or play a quiet game of chess while you enjoy the warmth of the massive stone fireplace. You've found the perfect place for a mountain getaway or your special event. Great DVD library (no cable). Free WIFI.

Beautiful Mountain Get Away

This bed and breakfast is charming, relaxing and peaceful. The decor is elegant with a mountain theme. The living room creates a cosy area for visiting or just relaxing in front of the fire. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Anniversary weekend getaway

Very cute, quiet, romantic B&B. Breakfast was a bit small, portion-wise, but delicious. Wifi and cell service is very weak. TV would have been nice - we wanted to watch some college football in our cabin. Service was great; staff very friendly. LOVE the log cabin construction of the main lodge. Complimentary wine in the evenings is a nice touch!

Comfortable stay

We stayed two mid-week nights at Wild Horse Inn. Donna greeted us, gave the tour and suggested several restaurants nearby for dinner. She also suggested going back to RMNP to view the elk grazing at sunset which was well worth the drive. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast wonderful both mornings and we enjoyed interesting conversation with other guests. Would definately return.

Great experience!

We have stayed at Wildhorse Inn several times, and loved each and every stay! They provide a delicious breakfast, and hot water to enjoy a warm drink on a cold day, and red wine that you can enjoy as well. Thank you for another wonderful stay!
