The Briar Rose is located in downtown Boulder with very close proximity to the University of Colorado, Naropa University and the Pearl Street Mall. The B&B is run with kindness… to the environment… and to the guests that arrive from across the world. A full, organic breakfast is included, and looseleaf green, black, and herbal teas are served throughout the day with fresh-baked treats. Fresh flower arrangements can be found everywhere, and the gardens are lovely Spring through Fall.

I would definitely stay here again. Short drive to the heart of Boulder, and close to everything else. The people that work there are so nice it felt like you were a guest in someone's home.
Thank you so much for your review! I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and most importantly, I am so happy you felt at home. That is precisely how we want you to feel, and I hope we can welcome you to the Briar Rose again someday soon! Sincerely, Carly S. General Manager

We had a great stay! We stayed in a room upstairs in the separate house. It was a very good size. The shower was a little cramped, but overall fine. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast was quite good - especially when they made mushrooms with a red pepper sauce one of the mornings (that was my favorite). The homemade granola with fruit and yogurt was amazing - I could have eaten it all day. Everyone we encountered who works there is friendly and accommodating. It was so relaxing to hang out in the front garden with tea and cookies, which are always available. We also made use of the complimentary computers and printer when we realized we needed to print out tickets for a concert we were attending, so we were thankful for that amenity. We were visiting my in-laws who live about a half mile away, and we had a very easy walk to visit them and an easy walk into town. Perfectly located, good price, good breakfast - exactly what we needed!
Thank you for your very detailed review! I so appreciate you sharing your experience. I am so pleased that you enjoyed our breakfast, our location and our Staff. We strive to always generate 5 Star reviews, so please feel free to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know of anything we could do differently which would help us earn a 5 Star from you, across the board, during any of your future stays. Our three-night stay was wonderful. Rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The location is perfect. Just a 15 minute walk to the Pearl Street mall, and a City Bicycle kiosk right across the street that made getting around fast and easy. The staff repeatedly went out of their way to make us comfortable, and breakfast was a treat.

We loved the friendly and family type atmosphere that Briar Rose had. It was very clean and felt like my grandma's kitchen with delicious smells and fluffy bedding! I highly recommend!
Thanks for staying. So flattered we evoked that homey-feeling & memory of grandma's what a sweet compliment to our staff!

We have owned the Rose (the business) since July, 2004. Today the Rose reflects our slightly eclectic blend of East and West - the Rose may now best be described as "Zen/Victorian-light". Most importantly, the Rose reflects our values of taking care of whoever walks in the door. We are fortunate to have a delightful staff of friendly and hardworking young people. Jessika ran the Rose day-to-day until Natalie came along in 2013 (finally!). (The photo was taken in 2014 on a vacation of our own.)
Vegetarian vegan, wheat-free, allergy sensitive.
Gary's own recipe for this great egg and veggie dish has been a guest favorite for over a decade is amazing with a side of salsa! We use only the finest organic ingredients and make (nearly) everything from scratch each morning.
