The Bath Street Inn, located close to the heart of old Santa Barbara, offers the traditional warmth and hospitality of a European Bed and Breakfast Inn. The eight guest rooms in the main three-story house are a charming mixture of nooks and crannies revealed during the renovation, and the luxury and comfort of added modern amenities.

Had a fabulous time. Room was very nice. Bed was very comfortable and had the correct amount of covers (Enough, but not to many). Shower was a little challenging at first but by the second day we had it mastered, We ate breakfast the second day outside, enjoying the sun. Location of Bath Street was excellent. A few blocks from the top of town.

Peter & Sue were very welcoming and incredibly helpful, when we turned up late for the tennis and hot and bothered by the London Traffic, Peter gave us a lift down to the AELTC which was very kind and way over and above what we expected. The Accommodation, breakfast, cakes and biscuits, service were first rate. We left my wife's earrings in the room, they promptly posted it back to me in Italy. Very kind and thoughtful hosts. We will certainly go again if we go again in Santa Barbara. Highly reccomended

Most excellent B&B with delicious breakfasts (fresh fruit, homemade granola and original changing entrees daily). They will tailor the food to your preferences/(in-)tolerances. Stayed in the Abigail room with my wife, an all-too-short getaway from the heat in Phoenix. Easily walkable to anything on State Street, otherwise a very short drive to places farther away (Stearns Wharf, whale-watching [we did the Condor Express - highly recommend that], Solvang [? but it was warm that day]). All three ladies were accommodating hostesses AND good cooks. Great place for a quiet, romantic sojourn (we stayed 5 days).

Terrific hostesses, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helpful about the are. Terrific food - as a B&b should be, snacks, wine and cheese, breakfast all A+. Convenient location. Large whirlpool bath that was very comfortable after long day on the road. Off street parking.

I took my girlfriend to the inn for a quick visit to Santa Barbara. The house is beautiful and the service was great. Everyone working at the Inn was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it for a romantic getaway to SB. The house is within walking distance of State Street as well.

My husband and I arrived late and were met at the door by a gracious woman who seemed to sense how tired we were. Wine and cheese hour was long over but she asked if she could pour us a glass of wine. We "supped" on the home-baked cakes and cookies -- all good and several remarkable. The ambiance is charming and welcoming, cozy rather than pretentious Victorian, and countless books. Best feature was its people, owner and staff seemed to take seriously the responsibilities of a hostess, including frank advice about local attractions. we wished we could have stayed longer. I stayed for one night at the Balcony Room and found Bath Street Inn the perfect place to relax after a long drive from the Bay Area. The balcony room was quaint, and the perfect private hideaway. The Innkeepers were polite, hospitable, knowledgeable about the area, and willing to give good recommendations about nearby restaurants. Homemade cakes, several kinds of cookies, tea, followed the next hour by cheese, wine, and crackers, striking up a chat with a couple at another table in the back patio, surrounded by beautiful landscaping...who could ask for more? Only a few blocks from shops on State Street, I easily found a nearby Mediterranean restaurant that Vicki recommended and had a huge dinner. The breakfast was scrumptious with their special fancy granola, eggs florentine, homemade muffin, yogurt, watermelon cup, coffee, and it is obvious that they take great pride serving their breakfasts. After my stay, Marie even remembered to email me the recipes for their eggs florentine and shortbread cookies that I had asked about. All in all, I had a memorable mini-vacation at a home where I hope to return to some day. This is a place to come to be pampered!

We had a very busy weekend in Santa Barbara. Bath Street Inn made our stay and anniversary that more special. We never expected to have this opportunity to celebrate our anniversary like this. It was one of most wonderful events in our lives thanks to Marie, Deborah, Vickie and the Staff. Everything was just so wonderful - the accommodations, the food (was just out of this world). We hope we'll be able to come back and enjoy this experience all over again and that others will come and enjoy themselves the way we did. Again Thank You so very much!!!!!
