The upstairs suite was just the right size for two and was very cozy. The stocked mini fridge was a great idea that had a great variety of essentials. This was key since the nearest restaurant or market was a good 15-20 minutes away. It was very clean and had all the comforts you would expect. It is a vary quiet and secluded spot, very peaceful. The bed was soft, and a nice sitting chair would have been great. Overall we will be back. This place feels like you are in your own private estate in the middle of wine country.

We stayed upstairs in Apartment 1. It's spacious, has a comfortable bed, lots of water and snacks in the kitchen (no stove or kettle) and overall a really a great place for two people, and a dog if you have one. Our only negative was that my spouse is 6"2' and because it's an attic, the roof was pitched and he had to watch his head. We had lovely people staying below us who we could hear during our stay. And you share the outdoor area, but it's so nice it wasn't a problem. Overall I guess it wasn't as private as we would have liked but it was better than any hotel room in town. We also visited the winery which was fantastic!!! (No dining on site but there are barbecues)

The Dunning Family took great care to see to our comfort and satisfaction. We loved the house (Suite 2) and the location was very convenient to the local wineries we wanted to visit, as well as the towns of Paso Robles and Templeton where we had very nice dinners. We would definitely return here and also recommend it to others.

The fridge was stocked with stuff for breakfast and snacks, plenty of coffee and wine also ! Gorgeous grounds to take a walk and about a 2 mile ride away from the main road . A real private get a way

We had a stocked refrigerator, and a nice kitchen, and I really liked the surrounding woods. We had great views of the vineyard, the Dunning tasting room, and the wild turkeys and deer. Being close to town and many winery's made this a perfect spot.

This is the coolest place to stay! It was so comfortable to stay in and it was so private! We drove up to deer on the property and woke up to wild turkeys outside. It was the coolest thing to see!! Property was stocked with food for breakfast and snacks, way better than a hotel room!! They did such a great job! Found the place from a friend that stayed and will ONLY stay here when I go to Paso Robles now!!!!

Amazing Vineyard views accompanied by comfortable accommodations in the quietest part of Paso Robles I have ever been in. My husband and I stayed here over 4th of July weekend and it was so lovely and quiet - we were in heaven! We've recommended this spot to all of our friends and family.

This quaint guest house is simple and charming, tastefully appointed, stocked with all you need and provides a quiet, peaceful and most importantly, an authentic experience staying in the midst of the vineyards. You can hear the silence! If you prefer to be off the beaten path just enough to enjoy the serenity of the area, this place is great.

Dunning Ranch Guest Suites is owned and operated by Jim and Angela Dunning. Jim’s Grandfather and Grandmother, John “Jack” Dunning and Ruth Dunning, purchased the ranch house plus the surrounding acreage in 1960. The Dunning family decided to turn the ranch house into a bed and breakfast in 2002 to compliment the wine experience with Dunning Vineyards. In 2007, Jim and Angela decided to purchase the ranch house and continue to share this special family property with future guests.
