Thank you Wayne and Craig, we love the little changes you have made with the place. Breakfast was awesome, the pool was just the right temperature and we loved hearing all your stories. We will be back, thanks again!

They had some rain before we arrived and the pool was filthy. The first rule of Palm Springs--keep the freaking pool clean! The second rule of Palm Springs - KEEP THE POOL CLEAN! The guy who checked us in then said that they can't control the weather, and the condition of the pool wasn't their fault. No, but not putting on a POOL COVER knowing there would be rain the next day is!! Sorry, but there really is no excuse for this. I was also told at 6pm that they would refund our money for the 2nd night stay, and we can go elsewhere. Rule #3 of Palm Springs. You do not ever say that to a customer. Totally offensive. Would have loved to have gone somewhere else if it wouldn't have been a total hassle moving and trying to find a hotel last minute. Did I mention that this was a birthday weekend, and they knew this? This guy had zero customer service skills. He then proceeds to make the happy hour drinks. I just asked for a club soda with cranberry juice. He brings me a tonic water with cranberry, HUH? I tell him it tastes weird and he says he used tonic water that he didn't actually have club soda like he said earlier. Um Ok. At that point you walk out and tell your customer that-- not bring them something that makes them want to vomit. Next we watch this same guy lead guests to our room. He figured it out before turning the door. IQ of a fly here! We made the best of it. He told us that the pool will be cleaned by 7am. NOPE, didn't happen till 9:30 am(hot tub never cleaned). Did I mention that the music from the pool area will be heard in your room for most of the day? The place itself can use a little love. A little run down and needs to be cleaned a little better. Like the tarp by the pool needs a sweeping.
As I have answered your numerous postings on social media: We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Palm Springs Rendezvous. We strive to make everyone's visit a 5 star experience and realize we must have fallen short of your expectations. While some of the issues you brought up about your stay, like the weather (we just experienced Cold, Rain & Snow and a nasty wind/storm prior to your arrival), was beyond our control. We did try at the time to make your stay as comfortable as we could. I did offer to speak to you in person or on the phone since it was my day off, (especially when you threaten us with writing bad reviews) but you declined then requested not to be contacted after your departure. I have however reviewed your feedback and will put into place any changes we feel are necessary for the comfort of our future guests. I hope you find the perfect place on your next visit to Palm Springs. Regards, Robert Harrison Aikens Head Innkeeper
- Manager Palm Springs Rendezvous (innkeeper)

The Rendezvous has the best staff around. We stayed there in 2016 and would love to go back year after year... please keep Teri, Dan and Robert in place and we will be back. From the call before arriving, to the fun and thorough check in with Teri to the breakfast with Dan and back to Happy Hour with Teri and checking out with Robert. The kindness is beyond anything we have ever experienced. Our room was a delight as well. Teri showed us everything (including some of the other rooms so we could change it up next time) - and there was nothing left to ask questions about. She was the perfect hostess. Loved our room - loved the quietness of the pool area and everything from start to finish. Thank you Teri, Robert and Dan for a wonderful holiday.

We stayed there because our friends recommended it. And we weren't disappointed. It feels like you're back in time, authentic and cool 50's-60's vibe. I really liked the touches of home-baked treats every evening in your room. Tasty too. Breakfast is so much better than I expected. Every day it was a new smoothie, different fruit and a delicious main course. Comfortable beds, the sheets are so soft. They really pay attention to details like the dark wash clothes for make-up removal. And tell you so much at check-in. Personable, friendly and comfortable. We felt right at home, enjoyed meeting other guests. I also liked the music they played by the pool, Nat King Cole, Dean, all the fun stuff. The one thing we wish we had time for was the evening cocktails, but we were with friends every night. Next time.

Hi, Such a great place to stay. Even though my stay was very short, I could not possibly have had a better time at this great BnB. There surely couldn't be more friendly or helpful staff anywhere in the world. As a young solo traveler from down under, I'd never experienced accommodation with such character. Beautiful setting with stunning scenery. I would recommend the Rendezvous to anyone. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for support when I needed it. :)

With luck I found this fabulous place online........truly a one of a kind.......The owner and staff were so nice and friendly..........the three course breakfast and evening drinks and appetizers was top drawer..........delightful, delicious, and delectable. The Honeymoon Suite is beautiful, and all our accommodations were met. We will be going back..............you also meet some wonderful new friends....

This was our first visit and we went with some friends who had been before. We had an amazing time. The service was fantastic. They serve breakfast everyday and the food is really good and very large portions. They do a happy hour at 5 pm with apps. The staff is witty, friendly and laid back. The room was fun. We stayed in Route 66. The rooms come with a mini fridge with ice, soda's, water and tea and coffee. They have homebaked treats each day. They have nice bath products so no need to bring your own. The sheets were so comfortable we bought some to take home but the bed was a little firm for our taste. It is very close to downtown and you could walk, or a cab is only a few bucks.

We found this place online by luck, and it was the perfect ending to our busy 2 week honeymoon! The rooms were super cute, the staff wonderfully nice, and the appetizers and breakfast was the perfect finishing touch! We loved every minute of our stay here, and the food was so to die for that I actually bought a cookbook with their family recipes used at the Rendezvous. This place has so much charm, I would recommend it to anyone! We will be back someday!

This B&B has the age and the character that goes along with an early build that has been taken care of and upgraded. Rooms were good size, clean and the beds are top quality. Fresh baked sweets daily in your room and the cocktail hour was a good time to meet your neighbors. The morning breakfast was yummy and filling. We will be back.

This is an awesome Palm Springs getaway place. The Staff were all warm and welcoming. They really cared about your stay. Betty is a one of a kind hostess. She made sure we had everything we needed including ideas on where to eat and what to do. We certainly will be back to the Rendezvous to check out one of the other themed rooms. Highly recommend!!!

I just want to say that this place was the best! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. It was just what the reviews said. The breakfast everyday was great! We got fruit and a fruit smoothie before the main course breakfast. I loved that! I was so relaxed in the warm pool. It was so nice to walk into our room, the first night, and it smelled so fresh and everything we needed was right there. I loved how they had separate towels for us ladies who had wore makeup (the makeup removal towel), the robes were wonderful. I loved the sheets. I didn't feel creeped out by the bed at all like i would in some hotels. I felt at home. Betty introduced herself and gave me a hug before I left. Who does that?! It was great. I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I had a brief vacation time in Palm Springs and can't say enough wonderful things about the Rendezvous. Atmosphere, service, rooms, an OUTSTANDING breakfast, and graciousness all around - we'll be back for a much longer stay! Sitting at the pool listening to Sinatra with the view of the mountains.....heaven.

We went out to Palm Springs for one night and stayed in the Honeymoon Hideaway room. The room is beautiful--retro without being the least bit tacky. The pool area is really private and serene. The snacks, breakfast and drinks are all wonderful. What makes this place though is the service. John Michael was wonderful and mixed a great margarita. All of his recommendations for restaurants and nightlife were perfect and we had a blast. If you are on the fence about this place, just go for it, you wont regret it.

I found this location online and it was exactly what I was looking for - a romantic weekend getaway. I am a online review junkie for everything and I didn't find one bad review and I can tell why. I am a huge fan of the Retro theme and it did not fail to impress me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants rest, relaxation and romance.

We wanted a quick get away to start our two stay vacation from San Diego somewhere close. It was the best we have experienced in a long time. We wanted a nice get away and we can't wait to come back. We were treated like we was welcomed family and not unwanted quest. Breakfeast was the best, the Blue Martini at happy hour was a hoot. My first trip to Palm Springs, my first Martini and can't wait for the return in the spring. Go have fun highly recommended by a B and B travler.

Went for a weekend getaway and was very happy. Service is over and above. Just mention something and they are on it NOW. Mentioned the Tram and within 90 seconds Betty had tickets for us. Breakfast is truly gourmet and filling. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on especially Copley's. Went for some warm weather and pool time and got rain but the staff made the stay wonderful. Don' miss the Blue Martini happy hour. Jake, Betty and Chris are the best.

The Rendezvous is a staple of the Palm Springs community and if you haven't yet stayed, YOU MUST! From Jake's Yummy breakfasts to Betty and Lea's Frozen Martinis, the hospitality service will knock your socks off and the rooms with all their recent updates and improvements are just divine. You'll want to stay in each one! Clean and inviting, fun and secluded, the Rendezvous will always be a home away from home for us! Thank you all for making our vacation wonderful.

The Rendezvous was a great discovery for us. Where to begin? Well, you have to begin with the staff. Everyone - Jake, Lea, Betty, Jake's mom - treated us as if they had been waiting all year for us to arrive and they were delighted that we finally made it. A lovely setting. The gourmet breakfast were superb. The blue raspberry martinis and hot hors d'oeuvres at day's end weren't bad either.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Rendezvous while attending the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Upon arrival we were greeted by Betty. She sat down with us to view our stay, ask about my vegetarian restrictions and ask us what we wanted to see so she could lead us in the right direction. We joined the group for happy hour and met Jake who gave us great suggestions for sushi and other places to eat. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite which was very comfortable. There is no t.v in the bedroom area which I thought was fine, but my husband was dissappionted. After all it is the Honeymoon Suite, they don't expect us to watch t.v. in bed. Palm Springs is a fun place to visit. We will be going back and will stay at the Rendezvous!

We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end----a great welcome, treats by the bedside, martinis and appetizers by the pool. The gourmet breakfast each morning was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, with a beautiful view of the mountains. We absolutely will return!

The homemade breakfasts and exceptional friendly service make this place stand out. Our room was comfortable and adorably decorated to match the inn's theme. But it's the extra service you get from Jake, Betty and Lea that are the treasures of the Rendezvous. They are extremely knowledgeable about restaurants and area activities, and the extra touches of complementary food, martinis, evening treats, bicycles, and stocked mini-refrigerators make this a true gem.

My good friend arranged this trip & I was pleasantly surprised with what came with our stay!! Betty & her daughter, Cris, were delightful! They made our stay so personal! In addition to the nice different themes they have going with their rooms, the other highlights of this bed & breakfast is the happy hour, breakfast & the lovely treats waiting in your room daily. The breakfast is complete with fruits, smoothies & the main entree which definitely lasted you the whole day! I didn't even need to eat til 8p! The treats were made at the premises daily & they were yummy! We are definitely going to be back & is highly recommended to my friends & family!

I found Rendezvous thru a simple web search, and as someone else stated, it stood out from all others. I wish I was the only one who knew about it! It is an older, classic place with the right amount of updated charm (and the perfect theme decor!) to take you from reality to your own personal 'home away from anything'! It was the perfect 3-day weekend - relaxing, quiet. And Jake and Betty are your personal concierge to Palm Springs! They are the best! Oh, wait, no, this place is horrible!! (read above - I want this place all to myself!!) ;)

We had heard about it from a friend, and my husband and I really didn't know what to expect before staying at this B & B. It turned out to be one of our most favorite romantic getaway weekends. The service was amazing, the room charming (we stayed in "stagecoach" room), and food excellent. Not only was the B & B great, but we also used their beach cruiser bikes to take a morning stroll around the city, and it is within walking distance of the award winning Copley's restaurant for dinner. EVERYONE MUST EXPERIENCE THIS B & B!!!!

We were visiting to have a family reunion with my mom’s sisters and cousins. This is the perfect and most exciting place to stay! The whole staff is very friendly and made us feel like family. Jake is the sweetest guy and a fabulous cook! The Silver Screen Room is fantastic! I love all the old movie posters, (& even the silver painted wall! I Think I want to paint my room silver now!) Anyways, everything about this place is fantastic! I cannot wait to come back & stay and try the other themed rooms as well! I am sad to be home today after such a fabulous stay at the most fabulous place! Thanks Jake for helping to make our stay wonderful! Can’t wait to come back!

We found the Rendezvous on the internet and it immediately stood out from the generic chain hotels listed. The minute we walked through the door we felt like family. The staff raise the bar on hospitality to a new level and nothing is too much trouble for them. Jake's breakfasts are a work of art and the Blue Martini and Appetizer Hour makes the perfect end to the day. With only 10 rooms we were able to meet all the fellow guests during our 9 day stay and that added to the experience. The location is only a 15 minute walk from downtown which was a bonus as we didn't have a car most of the time. Our only beef was that we could hear people through the walls in the room beside us. Usually not a problem, but one couple was a bit noisy! Overall a real charmer of a hotel and well worth a visit.

It may sound cliche, but Rendezvous really felt like my home away from home. They made my stay so comfortable that it was difficult to leave the comfort of my room. Their lounge area was open 24/7, so even late at night, we could go into the lounge, grab a microwavable plate, and heat up our leftovers for a midnight snack. We brought our favorite TV series (House MD) to watch on the DVD player, but if you happen to forget, they have a DVD library with multiple shelves of DVDs in the lounge that's accessible 24 hours. Their afternoon delight served hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. We asked for our cocktails virgin, which Jake was able to accommodate. Hors d'oeuvres were grapes, crackers with cheese & lunch meat. They provide so many in-room treats like drinks that are free of charge and desserts like brownies! They have a heated pool, jacuzzi, pool towels, and pool toys! Oh, I miss it already.

What a wonderful time we had! This is not our first time and honestly I lost count! This is the most relaxing place we go to. I feel like I am going home each time I go there! The staff always goes the extra mile to make our stay special. Thanks to Jake, Betty and Gabrielle for a fabulous Valentines weekend! You guys are awesome!

Nice, casual, low-key retro hotel. Everyone there seemed like they were regulars, making for a friendly and happy atmosphere. Food was better than expected, making the hotel an excellent value. We loved the nightly sweets by our bed and ample appetizers at cocktail hour. The room was lovely and clean, and the jacuzzi tub was terrific. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at the Rendezvous in Palm Springs! We were wowed by the decor and style of the bed and breakfast - it was so stylish without being over the top - it was obvious a lot of thought was put into each room. The hosts, Betty and Jake, were so helpful and really advised us on the must-do things in Palm Springs complete with setting up our tee time and dinner reservations. On the subject of food, the breakfasts were divine - we were so full that we werent hungry again until it was time for Jake's signature blue martinis and appetizers at 5pm. We also loved the homemade treats left at our bedside each night. I cant say enough about the Rendezvous - we plan to try to return each year!!

At Rendezvous, the innkeepers Jake & Betty thought of everything we needed for a fantastic and relaxing experience. The impeccably styled rooms, dining areas, patios and pools were hip, usable and comfortable. The food was divine & the happy hour was amazing. Will definitely return to stay - can't wait to stay in other rooms!!!
