First of all the location is perfect. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants and you even get your own parking space. Rooms are spacious and unique. They are older so be prepared but they are arranged very nicely. The only drawback is the noise from the walkway that runs along the beach. People like to have fun along this row and you will hear it most of the night. But if you are ok with that then this is your place. I enjoyed doing my stay and staff was awesome

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our Honeymoon and absolutely loved every minute of it! Definitely coming back for a future anniversary.

Such an amazing place, very historic looking, beautiful decor and ambiance. Perfect location right by the beach. We stayed in Room 4, it was very nice, can easily sleep 4, as long as each bed has 2 people. The only negative is that it can get noisy at night, since the location is right near all the fun night spots. However, they do provide you with earplugs in case you need them.

Great location during the day, right on the beach, watching the suffers and sunset, staff is wonderful, rooms are very eclectic ,clean, well equipped, restaurant and bar are wonderful. At night, the hotel is surrounded by bars and very very noisy until the early hours when the street sweeper arrives, don't expect a good nights sleep

We picked this area for location. We had rented a house before in this area and love the location. Walking distance to many places to eat and get supplies for the beach. Beaches are large and so plenty of room in the water and on the beach. The location is a mix. It is close to all the activities, but it also is noisy at night. We were there when it wasn't peak season, and still the patrons of the bars and food places adjacent to the hotels have people that stay up late and make some noise. Our room was large. The continental breakfast is not elaborate. The staff and manager was nice. The price for being right on the beach was very reasonable. The hotel doesn't have a lot of amenities itself but you are a short walk to everything you would need on vacation. It is a small hotel and sometimes the front desk has someone there and sometimes there isn't a person at the desk. The cost is reasonable for being right adjacent to the beach in an expensive area. We have a sound machine plus I sleep with headphones so the noise wasn't much of an issue but that would be the main thing you should prepare for if you are a light sleeper.

The rooms here are like a trip back in time...very Victorian and quaint. Our room had a great beach view...although along with that comes the accompanying noise...which continued all night. Everything in the room was nice...but it could definitely benefit from a good, thorough cleaning...moving furniture, etc. The onsite dining, at 21 Oceanfront, was outstanding. Excellent food, service and ambiance!!!!

Everything was very easy. Staff was very helpful, made sure we always had everything we needed. Love the Victorian feel. Cannot beat the location. Yes a little noisey through the Nunn night. Could still hear the ocean over the noise so was never bothered by it. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.

The location of Doryman's Inn is great if you want to see the ocean....and being on the second floor afforded us beautiful views of the beach. The rooms are like a step back to the Victorian era...so many nice touches. However, the noise level (both morning and night) from the people below was impossible to ignore...and we had to sleep with the windows closed which made the room very warm...not so nice in August. Also...one suggestion.. the furniture should be moved occasionally so that the carpet underneath could be vacuumed. There was dust about an inch thick under the nightstand in our room where the vacuum cleaner couldn't reach. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay...but probably wouldn't choose to stay again because of the noise factor.
