Rooms are clean but very tired and dated; mattresses and pillows could use replacing. Breakfast is a sit-down affair not served until 9:00 am and there is no choice. Why not follow the lead of most other B&Bs and put out a selection of fruit, homemade breads and muffins, granola, maybe a frittata and some good quality coffee and let guests help themselves starting at 7:00? And how about offering a couple of newspapers?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stahlecker House. Ron was an excellent host. The breakfasts were delicious and included many more items than I've had in other B&Bs. We stayed in Kira's Suite which was like a small house. I am grateful to Ron for allowing me to rebook at no cost after my flight was cancelled in Houston in the days following Hurricane Harvey.

We had a great time with friends during our stay at Stahlecker House. The breakfasts were terrific and the beautiful patio was a great way to spend a late afternoon.

We recently had the privilege of staying at the Stahlecker House in Napa Valley April 8-11, 2017.. We found the accommodations to be excellent. The breakfast experience, setting and food were top notch and we found Ron to be very informative on wineries and sights we should visit as well as being a great host and person. We can't wait to return to Napa and will for sure stay with Ron at the Stahlecker House on our next visit. Rich & Carole Walker

My wife and I did our first trip to Napa Valley and I found this amazing B&B. We've stayed at a few B&Bs, but this one topped them all. We stayed Fri, Sat, and Sun night for our 1 year anniversary. Ron was a great host, with a wealth of knowledge of the area and the history. The breakfast each morning started with a fruit bowl that tasted amazing and made a good way to wake up. The main course was different every day and made fresh. During the breakfast Ron would come in a talk with all of us and assist with any questions we had. The rooms we stayed in was the Kaitlyns suite, which included a queen size bed, a fireplace, a jacuzzi tub near the bed, and a Marilyn Monroe theme. We had access to the living room with plenty of seating and a very home feel to it and a courtyard area with a great view of a creek and trees out back. Overall Rob and the staff were fantastic and more then welcoming. We were sad to leave on Monday morning, but will definitely be back again. Thanks again.

This B&B is outside of the main Napa area, but the grounds are beautiful and main Napa area is within a five minute drive. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed ourselves. We had our 10 year old along with us and the owner actually had a special breakfast made just for her.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very friendly. The rooms had everything had modern amenities, but with an old fashioned flavor. The views out the windows were peaceful and green. The breakfasts were elegant and delicious, not cafeteria-like or rushed. With family living in the area, we'll definately be coming back!
