Quaint in.

4.2 on September 07, 2018

Stayed here in 1995 and again 2018. Still same cute place. Breakfast was nice, muffin was fantastic. And we needed to get out early so they brought ours to our room earlier than normal, which was lovely. Stayed in the "Shed", only complaint is the drapes did not stayed closed and were very thin. I did have cloths pins (Never travel without them for this one reason) and had to use all of them. I'd like to see heavier drapes that close to provide more privacy for this room as people do travel in front of it. Otherwise super quiet and very nice.

Return to Sea Gull Inn

4.8 on September 03, 2018

My wife and I returned to the Sea Gull Inn to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We were greeted by the new owners Kim and Ian. We always enjoy our stay there as it is in the perfect location and we love the Inn itself. Kim and Ian have continued the wonderful service and have been adding their own special touches. Our highlight was our anniversary breakfast in the garden with a special congratulations flare. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Cozy B&B

4.0 on August 31, 2018

Visited Sea Gull Inn and Mendocino on our recent anniversary. Plenty of sites to see shopping and good restaurants to visit. We especially enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gull. It was a great value, the rooms were kept clean with views of the ocean and the breakfasts in bed were terrific. Owners were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Mendecino Magic

4.2 on August 29, 2018

We origninally had planned to travel from Mt Hood Oregon through Crater Lake Oregon on our RV camping trip back home to HB California when we were detoured because of the wildfires in Oregon and northern California. Rerouted over to the coast where we had a reprieve from fire, smoke and haze. Fell into this magical town of Mendecino and met Ian Roth and his wonderful new assistant, Debbie, who greeted us with open arms and genuine interest in our journey and stories of RV camping for 2 weeks with our 3 grandsons...ages 13, 11 and 7. Immediately their hospitality embraced us as they shared their stories of Mendicina and everything we needed to do and see while there. They both exceeded our expectations as we wanted to 'upgrade' our room at the last minute, just because we loved the color and lighting in the 'Sand Dollar' Room. We had a wonderfufl time, great visit with Ian, amazing hospitality, outstanding organic fruit, yogurt and homenade muffins every morning delivered to our room with freshly brewed pot of coffee. It was truly a magical time in such a beautiful little gemstone of a seaside city. We will return again and look forward to snuggling up in our 'home away from home' at the Sea Gull Inn. Loved it!!

Wonderful accommodations, location, and service

4.6 on August 20, 2018

I have stayed at this B&B several times previously and really enjoyed it. The location could not be better--within walking distance to the town and lovely trails near the ocean. The rooms are very comfortable and quaint. The new owners have put a special touch on it with planned renovations, beautiful local art work in the rooms, and a continental breakfast that is very special. I was really pleased that they had no difficulty accommodating my vegan diet.Everyone who works here is pleasant, friendly and excited to welcome guests. The new owners are great and I look forward to seeing all the changes they are making when I return.

Mendocino Oasis

We just finished a road trip up the coast and staying at the Sea Gull Inn was one of the highlights of the trip. The owners were incredibly welcoming and gracious. The room had been well cared for and was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and with presentation that could have been photographed for a cooking magazine. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Anniversary

After getting engaged a year ago at a nearby lighthouse and staying that weekend at the Seagull Inn, It only made sense to go back an relive those memories one year later. We were not disappointed with another great stay and the new hosts were very gracious and welcoming. We highly recommend a stay at the Sea Gull Inn.

A pleasant stay

We were greeted by the friendly innkeepers and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have stayed before and will stay again as the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. The location is near downtown without being in the middle of the traffic. The breakfast is more than ample and very tasty. A good stay in Mendocino.
