Mendocino Farmhouse is nestled in a private forest setting just minutes from the village of Mendocino, surrounded by beautiful gardens with open meadows and a pond. The farmhouse is filled with comfortable antique furnishings, wallpapered rooms, flowers, and an eclectic collection of books and music. All rooms have private baths and some have fireplaces. The barn cottage, located across from the farmhouse features two rooms, each with private baths and stone fireplaces in a separate sitting area. Each room has its own private entrance. After you have spent a very restful night's sleep in one of our comfortable rooms you will wake up to a hearty farmhouse breakfast.

Mendocino Farmhouse B&B was new to us, but what a lucky find. Innkeeper Margie is a warm, welcoming presence and set the stage for a relaxing, quiet weekend in a lovely setting. Breakfasts were wonderful and done with attention and detail that is evident in the rooms and house. I know where we'll stay when next we head to Mendocino

We returned to this B and B because we enjoyed our first stay a couple of years ago. We're glad we did. It is lovely and in a beautiful garden setting in the redwoods. The food was good and Marge is a pleasant innkeeper. Close to Mendocino with an endless array of things to see and do nearby.

We have been coming here for many years and always find it a welcoming and restful place. The breakfasts are always delicious. This last visit we read in the living room by the cheerful fire! It is nice also not to be in the town itself.

We stayed in the Cedar room in the barn - it was cozy and adorable. Margie was super nice and talking to her over breakfast was interesting. The location and the outside of the Farmhouse are really what make it so interesting - it's quite a beautiful patch of forest.

If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay, this is it. There is a garden, a few chickens, all surrounded by Redwood trees. Wish we could've stayed longer.
