My wife and I just spent a few days at "Su Casa..." and quite enjoyed it. The location at the north end of Venice Beach was perfect for us. Twenty minute walk north to the Santa Monica Pier and a 20 minute walk south through the craziness of Venice Beach. This property won't be for everyone though as there is a lot of "local flavor". If you're looking for a 4 or 5 star area, you should probably go north into Santa Monica. You'll pay a lot more but it'll be quieter and less "adventuresome". Note - the building just to the south of Su Casa can get a bit loud in the mornings. If you stay here, try to get a room on the west or north side. The guys at the front desk were great and the location perfect for us. The rooms appeared to have been recently updated and were quite adequate. Also, the adjacent restaurant was surprisingly good. Overall, we had a good stay and would go back again.

I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Su Casa at Venice Beach. We arrived early in the day, left our luggage there with the day manager while we explored the area and when we returned in the afternoon he had upgraded our room to ocean view! Su Casa is right on the beach/boardwalk, within walking distance to everything we wanted to do/see; Muscle Beach, the Canal Tours, great dining, the Pacific Resident Theater and of course, Hinano's, a dive bar just rockin' with fun and friendly people!

Enjoyed our stay here - clean and comfortable with a great view of the beach. The staff were helpful and informative. Eating downstairs at the Figtree Café is a must

Su Casa was the perfect place for us to stay at the end of a gruelling three-week journey. It's positioning at Venice can not be bettered being in the middle of all that goes on. Having said that though, the room was quiet and perfect for our stay having all the necessary amenities. The staff at Su Casa were superb and went the extra mile when we needed help navigating the best way to get around Los Angeles. I can not speak highly enough of them and we are so thankful of their help. We would definitely go to Su Casa agin and will recommend it to friends who travel to the USA.

Su casa was amazing we got there early so they checked us in early we got a bigger room then we originally booked and the managers were great we woke up and got a healthy delicious breakfast....it was spacious and comfortable...we felt at home with most of the staff. it was laid back and was a very relaxing trip i cant wait to return. also the location was perfect we had a beautiful view of the ocean and it was near lots of food and fun. besides a couple of stains on the couches that can be expected when you have all white furniture it was very nice clean floors and bath room and bed and kitchen....over all it was very nice!!!!!!!!

I rented the beach cottage at Su Casa for my out-of-town 20-something relatives over the holiday weekend. They loved the accommodations and the location. Perfect little guest house just steps from the beach. Johnathan at the desk, was more than attentive and helpful with both arrangements and information. I will definitely use this B & B again!
