We hadn't been to the WCI for 5 years. Prior to that, we came every year for 5-6 years and loved it. Staff is still great and so are the outdoor areas. Breakfast is good, but too heavy on the breads and pastries. Not as good as before. I didn't care for the new tables and chairs or the painted wood in the common area. It is not a contemporary property. Rustic elegance and updates along those lines would be great, but don't try to make into something it isn't. It will be interesting to see what they do with the rooms.

What a great place to stay. If you want to explore St. Helena and the surrounding area this is the place for you. The concierge services are awesome as well. I overheard some people talking about having their whole trip reserved for them, and they were very happy. Proximity to shops dining and wineries is great too. Breakfast was just right, with some warm items, nice pastries and great coffee. You will love it.

Westayed at Wine Country Inn in one of their lovely cottages. It wasa beautiful and relaxing place to spend our time. The cottage is so private with a lovely deck looking out on the vineyards and a two person jacuzzi, gas fireplace, walk in shower, fridge and snacking supplies. The complimentary evening wine reception and breakfast meant that we didn't have to go out for meals unless we wished to. It was such a lovely place to be that we wanted to spend most of our time heading out to the wineries and bringing back lovely wines and cheeses and sitting on the deck. the pool area was lovely as well. We would definately recommend the Wine Country Inn and hope to return when we next get the chance.

There have been a few changes from family run feel and personal connections in The Valley over the last 10 years staying. That said it isn't the same but maintains the homey and more-private-than-commercial-property feel. Janelle's help with winery visits and tours and tasting remains and was invaluable. Morning breakfasts help make the stay and level it above some of the rest. Location beautiful as ever and convenient for all The Valley. Thank you for another great stay!

Six days of thoughtful, outstanding service in a perfect location to explore the valley. Loved returning there after enjoying our honeymoon, also at Wine Country Inn. Many thanks.

My wife & I have stayed at various hotels and B&B's around the valley but this is now our favorite. It was quiet, romantic beautiful views and grounds, excellent breakfast and amenities such as the pool/hot tub. Nice location to walk in the area and 2 wineries within walking distance. we will be back!

We love this Inn and come back since years. Underwent recent change in ownership though. The property is beautifully situated surrounded by vineyards. One charming aspect is the garden, but it would be important to keep it well looked after, I am noticing some negligence. This should improve. Also, some of the rooms in the main building need some remodeling for sure. Breakfast could be a little a more opulent, given the price tag to stay in this Inn. Wine and cheese everyday between 5 and 6 pm is great and staff is super-friendly. We would like to come back.

You will forget all of the craziness of Napa here! Close to so many things but tucked away into a private, romantic setting. The views are incredible, the pool is a great way to end the day, breakfast is delicious, and the staff is attentive, warm and friendly.

We have stayed here before but had not booked a cottage. It was totally worth the splurge with a huge bathroom, secluded and shady patio. The room was lovely and quiet. And breakfast great. Miss the shuttle.
