My wife and I attended a wedding near Yosemite and stayed in the Garden Rose room at A Bed of Roses. While we are both seasoned travelers and are pros at the large chain hotel experience, we haven't stayed at many B&Bs in our years of travel. A Bed of Roses will be the gold standard for any future B&B experience for us. Mary Kay and Steve make you feel welcome and at home right away. You should absolutely make sure to take advantage of the joint breakfast which features addictive pancakes, eggs, raspberry toast (otherworldly) and many other delicacies prepared fresh each day by Mary Kay. At A Bed of Roses you will feel like family (and maybe gain a few pounds ;) Highly, highly recommended!

Wonderful stay...best B & B we've had in the USA. Pleasant discussions, and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed it very much.

We stayed here for a weekend in March and this place definitely exceeded our expectations! Mary Kay and Steve were so welcoming and genuine, they made us feel right at home and the room was amazing as well. I absolutely loved soaking in the jacuzzi tub and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely come back in the future!

t was only a one night stay but Steve and Mary Kay made us feel like we were old friends. we were roomed in Wild Rose which was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious but be aware that this room does not have a shower. There is however a jacuzzi bath to ease away your aches and pains. The breakfast was exceptional, the best we had in a three week stay in the USA. Mary Kay's hot quiche was delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer It is hard to find any fault with the Bed of Roses or our hosts but if we were staying longer and being really picky, having to drive a few miles to go out and eat would be my only criticism. If Steve and Mary Kay were to offer evening meals the Bed of Roses would be perfect!!

Our first and, certainly, wonderful experience at a bed and breakfast accommodation. We found the owners charming, friendly and most accommodating. The room was pleasant and the breakfast scrumptious. A most "hyggelig" cozy, charming place. We would certainly stay there again. We felt like part of the family. Lydia and Jørgen, Vedbæk, Denmark.

Steve and Mary Kay are great hosts and serve a terrific, abundant breakfast at their b and b which is only a few miles from gorgeous Yosemite National Park. If you're visiting Yosemite I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Tom and Mary Higginsville, MO

We had a very nice stay and enjoyed meeting the owners, Steve and Mary Kay. They were most accomodating and we had several great conversations. They gave us good advice on restaurants and other places to go besides the incredibly awesome YOSEMITE....

We stayed one night in the Red Rose room and loved it. The room was clean and beautiful and I especially loved the electric fire place and jacuzzi tub. Steve and Mary Kay were wonderful hosts and we cant wait to go back this fall and stay in the Garden Rose room.

Valentine's weekend 2013 ,Nice and quiet place to stay. Took care of all my needs. The breakfasts was the best and home made. The bed was comfortable too. And for those cold wintery nights, taking a bath in the spa tub with the heat fan was a nice touch...it was right out of a movie !!!!We loved and and can't wait to go back !

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Red Rose Room, which was beautiful! Loved the huge comfy bed, the jacuzzi tub, and the comfy recliner chairs. Room was spotless! Enjoyed lovely views of freshly fallen snow and warm conversation with Steve and Mary Kay during our yummy breakfast of pumpkin pancakes, poached eggs, and fruit. Just wish we could have stayed longer! We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!

Kind and accommodating hosts. Beautiful room...The Garden Rose. Great shower ( hey, that's important to me!). Lovely setting. Delicious food. I will be back...the short distance from Fresno makes this an ideal quick get-away. I think I'll try The Red Rose room next time...

We had a lovely time in the Country Rose... Not only were the communications with Mary Kay answered quickly, but my last minute reservation was handled with Grace. The property was beautiful and Steven and Mary Kay were both very kind, easy to talk to, and willing to help at every turn. I highly recommend staying with them if you're anywhere near the southern tip of Yosemite; it was easy access in and out of the park with a short drive into Oakhurst for any number of stores/shoppes. Thanks again Mary Kay and Steven

I came here with my husband and his parents. Parents live literally on a different side of the planet so seeing them is a very sweet and intimate moment for us. And from the very first moment in Steve's and Mary's house I knew that my husband couldn't have chosen a better place for our family reunion. This place just feels home. Thank you so much for creating such an atmosphere, for your hospitality, for great advice what to see in the park (following which we enjoyed a lot), for amazing breakfast and everything! P.S. And bath towels were the softest in my life!
