This place is a work of art. A true hidden gem. My wife and I wanted a romantic stay to start off our 25th wedding anniversary jaunt through wine country but also wanted a place close enough to do a day in the city. What a perfect find the Guest House B&B place was. Situated in an an unassuming suburban enclave, a weathered front wood gate opens up to reveal Brian & Colleen's hidden treasure. The poolside cottage is about as romantic and intriguing as it gets. Artisan woodwork, stained glass, a bathroom literally built into a giant wine barrel, and a towering random cut stone shower for two. A delicious breakfast which we chose to have outside by the pool. The grounds are filled with beautiful flowers and fruit trees with all sorts of corners to stroll through. The pictures on the website are an understatement to the unique beauty of this place, It really must be experienced. Brian makes wine on premises, and sells bottles there. Don't be scared off by the informal, marker scrawled label. His Pinot Noir is OUTSTANDING-. We liked it so much that we bought an extra bottle that we shared with our friend in Oakland at the end of our trip who is a wine aficionado- and he was duly impressed- saying that it was "special" . A word- that perfectly sums up Brian and Collen's place.

We had a great stay! The guest room is luxurious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom a blast! Amazing double head rock shower. Wine barrel lavatory- all so cool! Super soft bed and delicious breakfast by the pool. Lush property with flowers, gardens, grapes, fruit trees! One of the best places we stayed and can't wait to come back. ¿¿
