Who needs to pay resort fees? Our guests never have. That's the message on one of the many customer thank-you notes that line our front desk at the Cinnamon Bear Inn. Guests praise the friendly B&B atmosphere of our Inn, tucked off Main Street next to a large wooded area. You don't have to sacrifice comfort and style for coziness, though, the rooms at the lodge feature four-poster beds, full baths, and cable TV. There's even an outdoor Jacuzzi. A full breakfast is included. A friendly, fun place to stay in Mammoth Lakes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok the beds were comfy but the walls were thin and you could hear all your neighbors.there was also plumbing issues and hot water issues while we were there. The breakfast was very nice.

We had a great experience staying at the Cinnamon Bear where Rudy and his team did everything to make our stay pleasurable and painless. Not trying to be fancy but more real and delivering all the service that are expected from a nice Bed and Breakfast. I would totally recommend to any of my friends or people that are looking for an affordable and cosy place in Mammoth. Thank you !!

Vintage B&B in Mammoth Lakes. Easy access to area activities.

Assistant Manager Sarah is wonderful, very helpful and knowledgable. I would have given a higher rating to the room if the mattress were better; it is in dire need of replacement. The Inn is quaint but run down since the owners moved out of state - peeling paint, etc. CBI is conveniently located. Happy hour wine and cheese is a n ice touch.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cinnamon Bear. Service was great and the stuffed french toast for breakfast was yummy! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had not experienced mammoth lakes before and our first time experience was made wonderful by Janelle and Rudy the Inn's managers and of course sara and Frieda also were outstanding. The Inn is very cozy with a warm woodsy feel to it. Our room right above the lobby was awesome and cozy. A family room with 3 beds and refrigerator tucked away. Sara checked us in and informed us that breakfast was served in the morning and wine and cheese was available in the afternoons. My kind of place. Checkin being at 3 were had already had a busy day hiking so we were ready for the relaxation.. Sara's contagious smile greeted us and made our checkin easy. We came down at 5 for wine and cheese to greet the managers Janelle and Rudy. Very pleasant people and full of information for our activities. The morning breakfast offered the usual cereal, O J coffee, But what a pleasant surprise when Rudy , whimsical, with a ponytail, gave a choice of that days menu. His cooking was outstanding the stuffed french toast was as good as it gets. Every day of our stay they offered us a choice of that days menu and Rudy did not disappoint us. Always smiling Janell and Rudy were more than informative. We will definitely return to this little piece of heaven. Oh I might add the beds and bathrooms were clean and efficient. My wife and I have always enjoyed staying at the Cinnamon Bear, and we enjoyed our stay again - wonderful host and hostesses who once again maintained that wonderful level of hospitality - with one exception. When we first arrived we noted and reported a VERY slow bathroom sink drain. The promised fixing did not occur during our two day stay. We had to resort to using the tub to brush teeth, wash our hands, etc. This coupled with an unusually high nightly fee (there was a blues festival in town) left a smudge on an otherwise pleasant stay. Assuming back to normal nightly fees, we will stay at the CB again.

We spent a Saturday night here on our way to Yosemite. Everyone was quite helpful, both to us and the other guests. Breakfast was delicious.

The room was gorgeous, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, but on that warm day and night, the A/C was inadequate. Having the front desk hours so limited was a real pain. Otherwise, it was very nice.

Welcome was from the heart.. Explanations of the hotel rules and environs were excellent. The breakfast was great. They make egg dishes as per your order; the rest like cereals, coffe, tea and OJ are self service. Great place, try it.
Very small room, perfect for fishermen, hikers, boarders and others who spend most of their time outside in the beautiful surroundings of Mammoth Lakes. Ideal for one person but suitable for two. ONE FULL SIZE BED ONLY. Cannot accommodate rollaway beds or cribs. Private shower. Excellent view of the woods behind our property and comes with one of our signature breakfasts.
