Who needs to pay resort fees? Our guests never have. That's the message on one of the many customer thank-you notes that line our front desk at the Cinnamon Bear Inn. Guests praise the friendly B&B atmosphere of our Inn, tucked off Main Street next to a large wooded area. You don't have to sacrifice comfort and style for coziness, though, the rooms at the lodge feature four-poster beds, full baths, and cable TV. There's even an outdoor Jacuzzi. A full breakfast is included. A friendly, fun place to stay in Mammoth Lakes.

The people there were delightful and so helpful in recommendations as to where to go or eat. The stuffed french toast was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value and location. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This bed and breakfast is in a great location, and is a great value. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly, the cooked breakfasts were wonderful, and we enjoyed the wine and cheese social every day. The rooms are a bit dated and need to be renovated, but they are clean.

The staff is just amazing, the breakfast is just enormous and different every morning. We stayed two nights and we had omelette on the first morning added to cereals, fruits, etc and we had enormous pancakes on the second morning. Everything was perfect to start the day. The room was very nice, spacious as well and we felt like home. What else? our stay was very very nice and we hardly recommend the people to go their and stay for a little while. Oh yes as well, Happy Hours are just a great idea, very friendly, a lot cheese and wine (for French people just perfect) and you have the opportunity to meet other guess and the owners as well. Yeh Just great, Go for it..

Nice B&B, clean and warm room, good breakfast and complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon. Accommodating staff. Perfect location near shops and restaurants, off the main road. Close to ski areas. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was quaint and cozy, with nice amenities, The breakfast provided by the inn was simple but tasty. The only negative is that the bed could have been a little softer; but overall decent accommodations for a quick ski getaway.

I have stayed twice now at cinnamon bear inn. it is a great value for the money, with a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. Extremely conveniently located in the heart of town, with many dining options within walking distance after a long day on the mountain. I look forward to staying again! The bed is comfy, though the shower kept getting extremely hot and extremely cold while using it..

Cinnamon Bear was as expected for it's price, convenient for what it is. It makes easy for day on the slopes - have breakfast and come back to get in the hot tub and go to bed. We didn't make it back in time for wine & cheese so can't comment on that. Breakfast was ok, Overall, it's not fancy but fine for it's value and good if you don't want the hassle of renting a condo for small family.

Our expectations weren't high given that Mammoth Lakes is a resort town&rate was on the lower end. Nothing about CBI exceeded our expectations! True, lots of snow this winter, but they should know how to handle it & assure safe access to rooms(not everyone who stays in winter is equipped with ski boots!). Access to room #12 was treacherous-up the outside stairs to the second floor(mostly cleared), along that balcony(not completely cleared),up set of stairs, over peak of the roof of room below & down another set of stairs(not cleared of snow, railings still snowcapped&stairs slope near the top). POOR lighting; one railing was missing! Luckily the metal corner piece was loose & could provide a hand-hold for return journey. The room was dingy; couch- soft & low & no firm chair available. The bed was soft, lumpy & uncomfortable (the thin foam waffle pad provided no support). Instead of looking to buy another property, the owner should put some money into fixing this place up - repair the torn linoleum in the bathroom; replace the bed; put lights on both nightstands, safe access, etc. Breakfast was another disappointment. The morning we were there, it was stuffed French toast-not sure what ‘stuffing’ was but it looked like a cream/butter mix (sweetened) with some small pieces of canned peaches. Two halves of a piece of toast, stuffed with mixture & slice of orange was breakfast - no piece of bacon or sausage for some protein. Not sure how anyone skiing for the day was going to make it til a mid-morning snack (let alone til lunch!)with that for breakfast! On the plus side-the wine&cheese happy hour was nice upon arrival & staff was helpful w/suggestions for area. We were there to see a family member who's a ski instructor, so getting the lay of the land was a plus. Parking was available, but again-without ski boots, navigating the parking lot w/out any sand/salt put down even outside the door, it was very slippery & treacherous.

We love this place and stay here every time we come to Mammoth. The service and food are great! The rooms are cozy. The price is an excellent value!
Very small room, perfect for fishermen, hikers, boarders and others who spend most of their time outside in the beautiful surroundings of Mammoth Lakes. Ideal for one person but suitable for two. ONE FULL SIZE BED ONLY. Cannot accommodate rollaway beds or cribs. Private shower. Excellent view of the woods behind our property and comes with one of our signature breakfasts.
